Looks like we'll get S6 sooner than later. A teaser image was posted on Facebook. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2016/01/season-6-teaser-image-released-major.html
Reminds me of the Swan Boat toy they are releasing featuring an articulated Pinkie Pie. Even comes with a little cardboard cutout Maud. Spoiler: Pinkie Boat
It might just be me, but I’m worried that ratings will be low again. Ratings weren’t exactly high when S5 started in spring, and it looks like S6 will premiere in the spring.
Well, this image was probably posted specifically to boost up hype for the season because of returning all popular Maud Pie. Image itself doesn't tell much, but as far as I've seen trough out community, Maud Pie is a real hit.
At least it didn't have you-know-who in there. It was good to see but there was no date so we'll just have to keep on waiting.
Some more season 6 news. Spoiler: S6 Season 6 Episode 1 - The Crystalling Part 1 The Mane Six attend the Crystalling of Cadence and Shining Armor's new baby at the Crystal Empire; Twilight gets the chance to present Starlight with her first friendship lesson. Season 6 Episode 2 - The Crystalling Part 2 The Mane Six sc
You'll need that shield *shoves Starlight in your face* LIKE THIS!!! WHY WON'T YOU LIKE THIS!?! JEEZ! Accept our shallow, contrived origin story! We know what's best for you! All problems are solved with a simple, "My bad!" just like in the real world, right?! LIKE HER!!! Maybe they can leave her and Spike in the Crystal Empire after the two part opener and we can be done with both of them. We can only dream... If they wanted a pony back in Equestria to redeem (again), why not Sunset Shimmer? She's a much stronger character and can go back and forth between universes as long as they keep the timing planned out. Also, Starlight's color scheme is hideous.
Starlight? That's... just... great... (not...) Well... what am I supposed to do now? I NEVER WANTED TO SEE HER EVER AGAIN. Because she's NOT REDEEMED. Hmm... well... Hmm... I really don't want to leave the fandom... Hmm... The teaser did look good otherwise. Maybe the premier will be good enough to the point where NOT REDEEMED character can just be ignored? That's what I'm hoping for at this point. Other than that I'm glad to see it's starting even earlier. This month even!! P.S.: *The Encounter plays* THAT'S RIGHT AWAY YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *throws bombs at everyone*
Don't you remember how we won World War II? We just stopped fighting and made friends with Hitler! Sure, he was responsible for attempted mass genocide, but he said he was sorry, and that makes everything better! /sarcasm
I weirdly seem to remember that people died during World War II. It sort of seems like that analogy might be kind of a stretch where colorful talking horses are concerned. Also, I think the goals of the U.S. military were different from the goals of the writers of MLP.
Not that big of a stretch considering the barren wasteland devoid of any life Equestria (could have) turned into because of Starlight Glimmer's actions. That said... Urgh. As much as it pains me to say it, but I guess it makes sense for Starlight being so easily forgiven. Not because of that ridiculous excuse for a backstory, mind you, but yeah... after all, Twilight and Spike were the only characters witnessing the events during the finale and all of the bad futures which were the result of Starlight's actions. Twilight's friends only know what Twilight told them (which, even assuming that it was a detailed summary of everything that happened, is still quite a bit different then actually experiencing it) and may quite okay with giving Starlight a second chance, especially with Twilight and Spike saying that this is the way to go. As for the Sameville ponies... well, as far as they are concerned, Starlight did the wrong things for... uhm... the "right" reasons (or at least that's what she thought - and so did everyone else, once), and everypony had the chance to cope with it and calm down and well... I'm actually okay with them not holding a grudge, so yeah, no objections on my part. And so, it also makes sense for the next season to show more of Starlight and if she's actually deserving of that second chance, even if some of us don't like her. But yeah, maybe we should focus more on the positive stuff. Like Maud. Maud is good. Can't go wrong with Maud. She's definitely as rock-solid as a recurring character can be. Maud. Yup.
Welp... here we go... I promise I will try to make this the last time I talk about this. With the season premiering next week... I guess it's time to start hoping that they don't put too much emphasis on the NOT REDEEMED character trying to get people to forgive her. Because for me... that's likely NEVER going to happen. If they do... *sighs* I don't know what I'll do... I really don't want to leave the fandom... I really don't...
