The Day of Appledash2012, not the day before, not when it get leaks and definitely not when we simply have a synopsis. The very day it's shown on TV and never before. Anything else is bad form and both Ridley and Rockout have every right to gripe. Yeah I know this isn't a place for in character stuff, but Princess Leona, is the princess of rules.
Posting early leads to turning the thread into an off topic complaint thread. Since the episode hasn't aired we can't exactly talk about it.
Give Starlight Glimmer a chance. Sunset Shimmer turned out to be a great character, in spite of her rushed redemption. I don't think anyone would say that the ending to the finale wasn't flawed, so why not give the writers a chance to finish the story?
Unforgivable by your standards, though. Ponies are a lot more forgiving than most people are. Hell, compared to treason, attempted murder, and the countless other horrible things we've seen ponies forgiven for, starting a cult seems rather tame to me. Besides, both her former followers and the Mane Six forgave her, and they're the only ones she actually harmed. In the end, you have to remember that the main theme of the show is friendship, not punishment.
Well, that's up to you. Just remember that if you go into the premiere certain that you're going to hate it, then it'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Yeah, no. Remember Cinch? Remember how everyone called bull*squee!* on her attempts to weasel out of trouble? Remember how her actions nearly destroyed the entire world, IF NOT THE UNIVERSE?! What planet do you live on where tampering with space-time for revenge would be considered forgiveable? BECAUSE IT SURE AS HELL AIN'T EARTH.
Except that nopony besides Twilight, Spike, and Starlight herself actually remember any of it happening, because when Starlight actually saw what she was causing, she stopped. Remember, she wasn't trying to destroy Equestria, she was just trying to get revenge on the Mane Six by ruining their friendship. She was being petty, not evil.
You know... is there a reason you are focusing so much on her being not redeemed? Everyone else already knows that she hasn't really redeemed herself yet. Even the characters in the show are well aware of that fact. That is the entire point of Starlight Glimmer joining the Mane 6. To give her a chance of seeing things in a different way, doing things in a different way and ultimately redeeming herself. Yes, she isn't redeemed yet. She's given a second chance. That's not the same thing. You screaming "not redeemed" at the top of your lungs (figuratively speaking) every time you mention her instead of simply using her name just makes you look... how should I put it... mentally unstable. Which, given your username, may be appropriate after all, but try to tone it down a bit, please? After all, let's not forget the original purpose of this thread: berating Appledash2012 for posting it early.
