This episode was sweet!! Bonding between Vern and Maud was as funny as I expected and there were some great callbacks like the Twi-cane and Smarty pants!!! Although, I thought Pinkie had literally dozens of party cannons. Guess that particular one had a special place in her heart. Vern's Pinkie impression was unexpected and lol-worthy. I knew what the lesson was gonna be as soon as I read the synopsis but it was fleshed out in a very enjoyable and diabetic fashion. ALSO... 11/10 JUST FOR THAT!!!!
Honestly... there's not much for me to say about this episode... however... Unlike before, this shouldn't be as bad as my previous thoughts were. Either way you should all know the drill by now. Here are my thoughts for S6E3. Spoiler THANK GO. THOUSANDS OF TIMES BETTER THAN THE PREMIER. PINKIE ANTICS. MAUD ALWAYS MAKES EPISODES AMAZING. Plus Rarity had her funny moments as well. Pinkie's sacrifice for Maud actually made me a little sad... The moral/lesson was a little on the 'obvious' side (gifts being more about love than being amazing) but that really didn't matter to me. MAUD IS GOOD AT EVERYTHING. SERIOUSLY. She can guilt-trip people into reveal stuff to her and can get items back with her Maud-ness? I don't know but she's AMAZING. SO MUCH BETTER THAN PREMIER. AMAZING episode. My fandom status has been reinvigorated once again!! If they can continue episodes like this, I won't leave the fandom. So... there you go...
Hey, we didn't get our, "Who can post the thread first" Game stole this time! I liked the episode. Season 6 is still going strong.
Yay for slice of life episodes! This is how the mane 6 should be. This is how the show should be. Pinkie being Pinkie, Rarity being Rarity, and Maud thrown in for good measure! Keep up this type of episode writing and all is well.
The episode is ep3, not ep2 as the title suggests Anyhow, i'm not really a maud fan so this episode was for me more on the "ok"-sektion. I'd love to know more about that canon :3 Also I guess the moral is that if you want something really bad that thatsomebody has just harass them?
And look so cute doing it!!! Stuff like this is the reason I like Rarity WAY more than I used to!! ^3^
I quite enjoyed this one, really great to seem some more Maud again, Rarity acting like Pinkie Pie was pretty funny too. My most favorite part was how the pouch pony was afraid of Maud Pie, you can really see the fire in her eyes. When I saw the swan boats in this episode, I actually thought they were going to ride one. Oh well then. I'm going to give this episode a 9/10. For some strange reason, I'm starting to like Rarity a bit more now. She's officially now my 5th favorite from the mane six.
Very cute slice of life episode that brought back old S1/S2 tones while still managing to continue plot points. I deeply miss these episodes but it looks like they might become more frequent with these new writers.
I thought this was a really cute episode. I loved seeing Maud again, found it hilarious how the pouch pony was terrified of her, loved seeing Rarity act like Pinkie and even enjoyed the little lesson at the end. I would give this one...hmmm...an 8 out of 10. Can't wait for the next episode!
