I have to say, I agree with Danvid. I try to immerse myself as much as I can seeing I go to college and am expected to be aware of everything in the world and my country, but I don't watch the news, read the newspaper, or go onto news websites. Most of my info comes from facebook posts and people complaining about stuff. Don't get me wrong, I can passionately defend certain values when it comes down to it, but I'd rather not tie myself up with such depressing subjects. I have my political and moral values and that's what I believe in. When I have to argue them in class I do. The only time I think I'd actually really discuss my beliefs are when they are close to being destroyed where in I go into defense mode and defend myself to the death like my instincts say I should.
Touching on a previous topic; politics. Mmm. 'tis a topic, how reason I am uncertain of I do quite enjoy. After all, it not easy to perfect the art of talking for an hour with out actually saying anything of merit, yet getting agreement from your audience.
Speaking of politics, what do you all think of SOPA? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act Its a B.S. bill that would pretty much outlaw streaming any copyright materials, this includes video game walkthroughs and lets plays, and it would lead to sites such as Equestria Daily and ANY fan site in general being considered illicit. All to stop "piracy".
Apologies DRD, I just kind of read a few posts of the thread and not your post about SOPA. I really don't know anymore. I thought so too. But it made it through the House of Representatives with the required 2/3 votes. Now it just has to go through Senate. Chances are if The House of Rep. passed it, the Senate will too. Then our only hope would be if the president (Obama) vetoed it, which I'm 99% sure he would. Vetoing a draconian bill like SOPA would look VERY good on Obama's political record and likely lead to his re-election, whereas allowing it to pass would be political suicide.
I think I have already expressed my opinion on it. Wait, lemme find it... Found it! Self Quote, get! As a side note; Canada.
Nothing much. Just random TwiDash topic on EPR. Oh TwiDash, you know that your the OTP for me. :derpe:
So I've noticed almost no differences in Minecraft before official release and Minecraft after official release...
There's quite a bit there... Generate some new parts on your map, Try and find a new stronghold. It should have a new portal in it to be opened with Eyes of ender. Go back to the Nether and try regenerating it, to get ruins with quite a fair bit of new enemys and stuffs. The nether has been updated a quite a lot. Try making some of the new objects like the Enchantment table and brewing stand, You can make tonnes of potions and stuff to help you out, then try killing that Enderdragon. The enchantment table uses your levels to enchant by the way, I believe. Im not sure how the brewing stand works yet. There are a lot of new things in minecraft now. However, A lot of the improvements are such things as Bug fixes and little changes such as to Enderman behaviour, because towards minecon they concentrated more on these things and perfecting what they have than on adding new functions.
