I know a lot will dismiss this topic, but I'm just asking to help ease some thoughts that have been nagging me. I promise this isn't going to be a start to any attention *squee!* stuff. I'm just curious is all. Well, it just a bit more than curiosity actually. It is a bit of a fear of mine. One where I kinda feel left behind or just out right disliked by most on a forum. I know it's never said, but it nags my mind to the point I sometimes stop going a on certain forum sites entirely because of it. I don't wanna do that with this place. So if anything, think of this as a bit of a case study to see if my mind is right or I'm just paranoid. Honesty is very much appreciated. So... for the lack of a better way to ask the question: What do you guys think of me?
Other than the overly-affectionate roleplaying stuff, I like you just fine. But the dislike of affection is really more my issue than it is yours, so don't worry about it.
I see nothing wrong with you. You're pretty cool. Now if I were to make a topic like this... well... the results would likely be far different.
Well this was more painless than I thought. I know I'm kinda expecting that not everyone would know me too well, but I do appreciate the honesty at least. @Ridley Wolf: I am more or less aware of my affections. That's why I've given some forum games a break or a long hiatus. Lio explicitly expressed much dislike about it too, so I know your not alone there. I've been trying to tone it down, but it can be a bit hard to not to be affectionate at times. Turning that off is like turning off the number of rivers connected to the ocean, it really cannot be done.
Well, like I said, it's my issue, not yours. I don't expect you to stop just because I'm not thrilled by it.
Good stuff: You're cool, a good friend, and always willing to help. You're fun to chat with, really fun in forum games, and a great online friend . You are quite considerate, and very understanding. I've only ever done one rp with you, and that turned out to be quite an interesting storyline. You always seem to try hard, and make everyone feel welcome. Bad stuff: The 'affectionate' can get annoying sometimes. To some people. As well as 'overly-affectionate rp's'-that's not something I'm too fond of, but if that's just your natural rp style, I have no complaints.
I'm happy to hear that. I do try to keep myself open to other people, though that also can be affected by first impression of people at times. As for my my affectionate behavior, I'm naturally affectionate. I show that more on the surface when I become better friends with people. As for RPs, it is also what the RP is about. Though, I fall to... urges... like anyone would. We all are human after all.
lol I didn't mean to make this a sex ed class. Good for you though. If you really can can control your urges in their entirety, then you certainly would deserve a award for it~
What with being new and all, I haven't really gotten a chance to get to know you. However, you still seem like a pretty cool person.
You really are a cool person to have around. I enjoy having casual conversations with you at times and playing with you in the Forum Games area. I don't mind the affections that much either. I kind of just go with the flow, TBH.
I honestly don't know you that much, so I really can't say much. But there's really nothing bad I can say, so...yeah.
The mlpf gave me that feel as well. In the little bit of time I've talked to you on the forums, I'd say your a cool person to chat with.
