Heart Song followed her outside and flew up to the sign with some difficulty. "Alright, what are we doing?"
*neoshadow is sitting in the bar, nothing really happening whilst all this drama apparently occurs elsewhere.as he has been for several days*
"indeed, it would appear the tenents are happy interweaving themselves with ceasless drama" *lifts up blackened with his wings and plops him infront of him in the booth*
(It's still the same day in the RP. And there are three or four other ponies in the bar. Seriously, read the other posts before posting.)
// i have, i read every single post. as far as i knew people were ether smashing up shops, engaging in outdoor makeout sessions, or in a hospital.
(What part of kissing is drama again?) "About what I thought." Asmo smirked. "Wall, now..." Raven grunted and began pulling on the left sude of sign. "Just pull... the other... side with me." Maya shrugged. "They'll all be back soon. Hey, idea, instead of lifting him, just come up here and sit."
Heart began pulling on the sign, then quickly thought better of it. "Screw this," she said, blasting the bolts that held the sign in place.
"Well, like I said, my back was broken." She sighed. "My squad was sent to the slums to round up any stragglers, and we found a group of homeless ponies hiding in an old warehouse. We had just gotten them outside when the Night Guards showed up. I remember Shady because she was the only one not wearing armor, and she was pissed." She shuddered at the memory. "We outnumbered them three to one, but we still never stood a chance. When the Captain realized that we were losing, he starting killing the civilians, and it all went downhill from there. Shady did something with her wings and cut the Cap in half, then she flew at me. I tried to get away, but she hit me with some kind of magic kick and snapped my spine. I went down, and I guess they thought I was dead, because they killed my entire squad and moved on." Marq joined them outside, carrying the store security tapes, and Heart finished her story. "One of the homeless ponies that the Captain had killed was laying near where I fell. I used the last bit of power I had to set her body on fire and take her form. When Blackout's squad found me, they thought I was a survivor and took me to the hospital. I spent the next month pretending to be the homeless mare whose body I'd burned. Blackout visited every day, and even offered to let me stay with him when I got out."
"As soon as I realized that Blackout was falling in love with me... and me with him... I had to tell him what I really was. I thought he'd abandon me then and there, but, for some reason, he didn't. He took me to meet Silver, and Silver helped me get asylum in Equestria. The day I had my citizenship finalized was the day that he introduced me to his daughter... which of course led to me having a panic attack and hiding in the closet." She laughed. "Once they got me calmed down, and I got to know Shady a bit, we became really good friends."
"That's a pretty sweet story." She turned to Marq. "So, we burning those, or waiting on the statute to come through and using them in a video down the line?"
Marq shook his head. "I think it'd be best if we just got rid of the evidence. I kinda have a reputation to uphold."
