Maya's Bar (Open RP)

*"Neo, who invented those fireless things? If I remember correctly, a certain Earth pony with an hourglass cutie mark had something like them."*

 

"I sadly do not remember. I tend to ...accumulate such objects, in my travels"

 

The bundled foal at Heart's side giggled at the cannons and fireworks.
"Boom! Ka-boom!"

Heart sighed.
"Great. Her first words."
She reached for the bag at her other side and pulled out a beautiful black agate mortar and pestle with a gold vine inlay, and set it in front of Maya.
"Found this in Shady's apartment. Tag says it's for you."
She reached back into the bag and withdrew a small crystal vial.
"And this one's from me. Essence of Love. Happy birthday."

Essence of Love, as an alchemist like Maya undoubtedly already knew, was a rare and powerful potion ingredient created by refining a blood sample from a well-fed Changeling.

 

"Really appreciate it!" Blackened chimed in. "Asmo and I put a lot of effort into getting all the supplies and the cake for us. I think you'll like what we've made the place smell of..."

 

Hearing the chitterchatter of the talk, and as seeing tjat someone is being celebrated, Jay raised his half-full cup of coffee and nodded towards the group, taking a sip after.

 

Saber shook her head when she was unhugged "And as Asmo claims, not yours this time."

 

*"Maya, I didn't know what to get you. I made this amulet though. One wish, if you whisper a wish into it, if its in my power I will grant it. As long as it doesn't cause harm to anyone or anypony, or anything."*
*A simple carved amulet appears, with blue and silver energy coursing through finely carved, intricate swirling patterns.*

 

Zeran and Etheran both grinned as they watched, then frowned. "did we get Maya anything?" Zeran said, and Etheran shook their head. "I forgot"

 

"May, dont worry about it. Since I dont have a gift, Ill cover for ya."

 

"Im sure." she smiled, giving her another hug for the hug of it before getting behind the bar.

 

Noticing that movement was happeinig in the bar and that he finished his coffee, Jay stood from his table and went to his wagon, returning with a pencil and paper. He wrote "I would like a meal and a room please. Also price for both things if it isn't too much to ask." and giving it to Saber, the note, the cup and a gold nugget.

 

Saber handed him a menu with prices so he could choose what he wants. "And the rooms are free for a night." she said with a smile.

 

Jay made an "oooo" face while watching the menu, looking calmly at the many meals. Finally deciding for a special, he pointed at it and gave 3 more nuggets and returning to his table, removing his hancerchief and placing it next to him.

 

"I do not. I should learn" Saber said as she put away the nuggets, and headed to the kitchen.
