"So... what if they come off?" Maya asked. Raven smiled. "Please do. I can't find their tabs anywhere."
"Sure thing." He took the guitar and started to play the song a bit slower than how it originally sounded. "Want me to break it down for you?"
Raven started playing along, just behind him. "Keep it slow, I'll try and learn by ear." "You should try to get that under control," Maya said seriously.
(Cracks knuckles, sending small shockwaves out) I can help things get under control. *As the shockwaves hit silverware and napkin holders, they ripple and snap into different objects, of all shape and colour.*
Maya clenched her belly. "Careful with the splash magic..." Raven eeped and held her guitar close, praying her baby wouldn't turn into a toaster. Dusty looked around at the changes. "Architect, can you please turn everything back?"
Mat continues to look at Dusty, "... Fine, I'll satisfy your curiosity... Go ahead and ask me a question. Any question at all."
Mat quietly replies back, "You mean the 'us' thing? ... Well... it's not like an alternate personality or anything, obviously. But... the power, there's like... a certain feeling, you know? Like the power is somewhat aware of what's going on. I can feel it tug and such. We're kind of in sync. I remember the first time I felt it."
Mat stares at Dusty, "Ah... let me start the description with a question..." Mat's hoof gently brushed his half-full mug, turning it a bit, "Have you ever been flattened, Dusty?"
