Mat got hit good, staggering back, rubbing his forehead with a hoof. [Ugh, I need to get through... somehow.] He quickly rushed Az again, gritting his teeth, suddenly cutting off, running around him, before running directly at him, rushing to punch him in the side with a forehoof.
Azrael took the hoof to the side, didn't budge, and calmly stood back up. Maya winced. "Mat, you can just tap now..."
Mat continued to take shots at Asmo's side with his hoof, growling, "*squee* tapping out! I'm not done yet!"
Azrael grabbed Mat, lifted him by the throat, and slammed him. "What are you going to do? I am beating you at your own game now."
Mat grunts, getting up from the ground, shaking off the dust, before rushing him again, jumping up to try to punch him straight in the face with a hoof.
Azrael caught his hoof, fell back, and quickly locked him in a tight gogoplata hold. "Tap out pass out, Liger!"
Mat grunts, picking Az up slamming him down... once... twice... three times..., the ground cracked with each slam. His body slowly grew more limp as his cutie mark was barely glowing now, the radiation from his eyes was almost gone as well. The hold was still getting him. [I can feel everything fading.... I can't... I don't know how much more I can take.... I... I'm done for... No... Not this way... NOT NOW! WAKE THE *SQUEE* UP! TAKE THE *SQUEE*ING DIAL AND BREAK IT AND BREAK THIS HOLD!] Mat's cutie mark glowed it's brightest, almost completely white, while the red light radiating from his eyes came back more bright than ever, as he picked up Az, hopping himself high into the air, planning on driving Az back first to break the submission.
Azrael let out small grunts at the first three slams. "Not... going to... happen!" As he was carried straight into the air, he looked genuinely shocked, his eyes widening. Nopony had ever made him look that light before aside from Maya Heartstrings, resident bar owner, alchemist, and gods damn she-hulk.
Mat brought him straight down, shaking the ground as the two landed, he needed to get free, he needed to pull his ace of the hole out. It was going to be now or never.
Azrael gritted his teeth and ate the dirt, grunting at the impact as he was slammed head-first into the ground by the wrestler pony. Afterwards, he laid on his side, growling.
Mat laid there on the ground as well, taking a look at Az, watching him carefully. [He... he's not going to get up, is he?]
He was. The Streak was not ending so soon. Though his face was now bleeding formaldehyde, he stood up do his hooves with a throaty growl, looking down at him.
Mat slowly stood up on his hooves, his eyes barely radiating, as he tried to force himself forward, his whole body shaking. He took two steps towards Az, before fully collapsing on the ground, his cutie mark and his eyes stopped any sort of glow they had. [Crud... I'm.... I'm not strong enough... This body... it's still not used to the power... That drained me bad. I... I can't even get up.]
Azrael stared for a moment and sighed. He extended his hoof to Mat, offering to help him up. "Well-fought..."
Mat weakly muttered, his hoof twitching as he reached for Az's hoof, "... Still not where I have to be..."
Dusty scratched his head some. "He just made a crater with Azrael's body. On his own. Incredible, even if he did lose." Maya lowly nodded, clearly surprised. "Mat's kinda a badass." "Maybe moreso than you," Asmo teased. Raven shot Asmo a glare. "Not possible." "Please don't brown nose me," Maya reminded her. "Anyway, Neo. Who do you think held up better, dude? I mean compared to what you thought they could do. They both got pushed."
(Shaking his head) Why did they need to fight... Though I still can't shake the feeling that a, not necessarily but more than likely, malevolent entity is watching us. Anyways I'm going to sleep. (Spins but before completing a revolution he slides into a glowing crack and vanishes, the crack vanishes within seconds.) *The Zeppelin flies off into, and past the atmosphere, with the help of rocket engines that fold out of the sides of the gondola, it was clear that most of the energy that would allow the Zeppelin to teleport was used up.*
