This can be fanmade but i think everypony needs a xat chatbox. This would help us communicate faster and have fast live chat. Its free to make and anyone can talk in it This may sound stupid since we got vent and the radio, but you dont need to signup or have a mic. You can learn about xat at xat.com I hope this is considered.
I actually was thinking the same thing and agree. I've been to many a site where they used one of these. They're rather useful.
You know there is something called the Livestream Chat. It's in the EPR, if you want to chat just use the pop-out chat. ...or just listen and chat at the same time. As for me I'll stay on forum-based pace.
*Cough* Shouldbeinsitediscussion *cough* But, really, would anyone use the xat feature? I mean, we all go on EPR.
I moved this to the "Site Discussions" subforum and I removed the off-topic posts that were here. I, personally, don't have much to say about this. I've never really used Xat, but from what I saw, I didn't particularly care for it. I'll leave this here in case an administrator wants to chime in. By the way, we do not have Vent. Ventrilo is not associated with Everypony.com.
Well, although I'm quite unfamiliar with vBulletin's overall features and layout, I do know that the phpBB has a special "live" chat box feature on it. My clan's site on SkullTag (Yes...) is run by phpBB, and it features a useful "live" chat box that also includes the ability to distinguish between normal users, and those with site-specific privileges. Example: Spoiler: What it looks like on the site. (Yes, I'm Fluttershy on there...) This is what the chat box looks like on our clan site. Nothing really special, but it supports bold, italics, underlining, color codes, and emoticons. Also, the feature that distinguishes the site's members is also visible. Administrators have their names colored "white," and Global Moderators have their names colored "green." I'll see if there's another site that uses the vBulletin's chat box feature, and see what it might use from the site in order to operate.
