Hello Everypony, Long story short, I'm doing a very in depth and totally awesome report on MLP: FIM and the Fanbase for my 11th grade AP English class. To pull off this 1 hour report, I've done about 7-8 hours of research looking for articles, polls, and statistics, but I still want more to make this solid. So I will be doing Interviews of random bronies VIA skype (recorded) and I have a short and easy survey to fill out quick. I know, the questions on the survey have been answered probably about a million times for each of us, but the latest statistics I got were from over a 2 months ago, and that is old by my standards for the internet. Sound only. I'm not doing video myself, as I don't own a webcam that is functional ATM, and it's completely anonymous. I may ask something like, 'Where do you live?' but you dont have to ask exactly. I am putting together a map of the general locations of people that I interview. At the least, I'd like to know what state/province you live in, but if whoever i end up interviewing doesn't want to answer a certain question, they don't have to. Also, please pass this survey around. I'm trying to get this project done to the best of my abilities, and more accurate data is the goal.

No, where you are doesn't matter, in fact I'd say it's better if your outside U.S. because part of my whole thing is proving this to be a international phenomenon that has sprouted up recently. I'm currently lining up people to interview and will get back to whoever it will be later. Also, there are forums where pre-reqs are required to post on, so if someone with an account with full privileges on forums with such pre-reqs as 'must post X amount of posts before being able to put up your own topic' could post up my project and the survey then link me to it, it would be greatly appreciated.
I see many are interested, and so am I. I think it would be good for you to have a wide range of nationalities, to show it's spread to other parts of the world. I'll definately be up for it. My skype's on my profile.
I Just did the survey. T'was quite good. Hey, by the way, I noticed two little mistakes with it... Nothing really important, but could help get more accurate results... I think its the second question or around there that the answers overlap, And you should have probably put a box for other at the last question, maybe a box for liking them all the same. Well, thats about it... Apart from that nice survey!
1st problem is hopefully not my fault. I was much to lazy to go to the point of programming and setting up a website to host the survey, so I just took a random online website that offered to do all the work for free - so hey, got what I payed for and it may just be a problem on your device. 2nd problem was on purpose. I want everyone to pick their fav pony. Its not super important for the report, but I kinda wanted to know anyway. Also, I don't wish to discourage people, but please think a bit before going into the interview, It could take anywhere from 5 mins to an hour depending on how interesting and productive the interview is.Also don't want anything super weird, gross or inappropriate mentioned on tape, I.E. 'Cloping'...
Depends if it's a weekend. Time zones 'n' that. I'm usually free anyway and I wouldn't mind for it to be up to an hour. Oh, and I wouldn't mention the dark corners of the fandom, that's how the misunderstanding started. People need a positive outlook on Bronies.
