Noticing that Ol' Windsor was holding the last call sign, he wanted to order his last thing for the night. "A Lemmy, please," he said to the old stool.
"Aw, sweet. Thanks," he said, gripping one of the Lemmys. "Anyway, seeing as the bar's closing in a few," he started, "you free tonight, Az?"
"Well, I was thinking we could go to this place that Maya often hangs out. It's called Paradise, or something. Wanna go up there with me?"
As her parents left with Marq and Holly, Nightshade helped Windsor clean up around the bar. **************************************************************************************** Outside, Cricket yawned. "Honey, it's about time for me and Hope to hit the hay. Would you mind?" Blackout nodded, and his horn lit up. Cricket and Hope vanished in a flash of light, and reappeared a moment later at home.
"What would that be, Raven?" Nightshade asked, focusing more on balancing two heavy trays of dishes on her outstretched wings than on what Raven was saying.
As Windsor waddled over with a bottle of peroxide for the blood, Nightshade shrugged. "Honestly, I figured it'd be sometime this week. That wasn't exactly a normal pregnancy. More than anything, I'm surprised by how easy it all was. I was worried something would go wrong."
Raven sighed and snatched up some cleaning supplies to scrub the seat. "Something may go wrong still. Like maybe the kid blows up the bar." Meanwhile, Maya was doing something absolutely insane: Letting Asmo see Moondust. Dusty started to ask, "Are you sure this is a good-" "I am great with kids!" Asmo interrupted, stuffing a tentacle into a very shocked Dusty's mouth. Moondust burst out giggling at the lazy slapstick.
"Eh, I imagine we could just deus ex machina it back together. The number of god-tiers that frequent this bar is ridiculous."
