I see mostly fluttershy in myself, she has so much in common with me; even my friends say I'm so much like her.

If you've chosen a one of the mane six, please post why below.

    Pinkie.

I'm literally like her in every way possible. Literally.

    Even the 'cupcakes' part.

It's a mix of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. Maybe a small pinch of Rarity in there too, since I do kinda have a thing for feminine fashion. Ehm... not something I normally admit out loud in public...

Anyway, I've funny enough have kinda been leaning toward Pinkie a lot. Her happiness and her alter state with depression defines what goes on in my mind.

Be careful with your wording there. Cupcakes Pinkie is referring to the fan-fiction where she's a full on psychopath. She needs no reason for it, just ponies to fill her inventory orders for cupcakes. Now if you mean Pinkie going into her depressed state in Party of One... then you may need to check your pony privalage a bit. Pinkie doesn't go 'Cupcakes', she just is stricken with a lot depression and temporary insanity. She thinks her friends left her and are no longer interested in her parties. It's more case of misunderstanding and paranoia, than dementia.

Oh, Okay. I was just making sure you were referring the fan-fic strictly. The reason for it is because, for some reason, a lot of people associated the Party of One episode with Cupcakes, just because Pinkie goes more bonkers than usual.

A large part of why I identify with Rainbow Dash so much is that I see a lot of myself in her. I have a hard time focusing on things, which is similar to the problems she faced in "Testing, Testing, 123." In addition, I can be very passionate about the things I enjoy. And of course, one of my core values is being a loyal friend - willing to protect them from harm, even - much like Rainbow Dash.

Mostly Rainbow Dash, because I tend to brag about things and being loyal to my friends. Sometimes, I'm lazy like her. Oh, and she's awesome, like I am. :p I think I'm also a bit of Twilight and Applejack, too. Twilight is pretty smart and so am I. (I've gotten straight A's on some of my report cards last year.) As for AJ, I do work hard every now and then and I'm also a little bit honest about some things.

I consider myself a loose mix of all of them. The big one here, though, is Applejack: Honesty's kind of a big thing for me, especially following my (slightly) more rebellious teenage years, and as my parents can testify to I can be pretty stubborn.

    As for the others:

Fluttershy -- I've never been good at dealing with or talking to others, especially in person. I'm not a social person by any means (when I graduated from high school in 2002, the resulting get-together was more of a picnic than a party). I hate the spotlight, and I favor animals over humans any day (cats, primarily). Also, I've never taken pranks or practical jokes all that well.

Twilight -- Love to read. Absolutely love to read, and when I still had mental energy to work with I enjoyed learning as well. In 6th grade, I had to serve an in-school suspension due to tardiness; it turned out to be one of the best days of my life, since I could focus on what I was working on without anyone bothering me. If I hadn't been mocked, teased and bullied for most of my school life, I would've enjoyed the educational experience much more.

Pinkie Pie -- Getting honest laughter out of people is one of the few things I consider myself legitimately good at. I also reserve a special fondness for things that don't make sense from a realistic point of view. On the downside, this also ties in a bit with the previous paragraph: my mind tends to be a bit "out there", resulting in me thinking somewhat differently from others. Because of this, I had a hard time from kindergarten through 12th Grade because I couldn't understand why people wouldn't stop pestering me.

Rarity -- I try to help my parents on the financial side of things whenever I can. The way I figure it, they spent who-knows-how-much money on me raising me to adulthood, and then putting up with my health after I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2005; if I have any say in it, I intend to pay back every cent and then some. It gets a bit tricky considering my salary ain't all that great---only $8.50 an hour---but it's worth it.

Rainbow Dash -- ...Eh, this one's kind of give and take. I've followed the Detroit Tigers closely since 1994, and their Wikipedia article will tell you that they were constant losers for 11-12 seasons straight. By contrast, 4th Gen-MLP and EG are fine shows/movies on the whole, even with the occasional sub-par or controversial episode; I figure a person with that level of loyalty wouldn't have any problems really sticking with things he/she likes even when things don't go his/her way. On the other hand, after a certain point I stopped showing any sort of loyalty to my high school because it was getting too troublesome; I even gained a bit of notoriety during my junior year by falling asleep at a pep rally.
