It's been all the rage: People dressing up as clowns and going around town to scare people. It's scary, not fun, and generally disturbing to see the 'clowns' enjoying this. Some people have taken it upon themselves to go 'clown hunting' and to track these people down. There have been multiple Youtube videos of these clowns scaring and chasing people...some even with weapons. So, what are your thoughts on this? Has anyone seen a 'clown'?
Humor is really subjective, isn't it? I mean, I personally find the videos of clowns scaring people to be hilarious.
I just don't find it funny to scare random people with weapons. Unless you truly intend to kill them, don't even bother with weapons. It's a pointless scare. I suppose it can be funny in the right doses, but it's been too frequent and even cops are tired of it. In some places, Cops have actively started arresting people dressed in clown costumes due to this recent craze.
There was a recent case in which a bunch of people dressed up as clown and went into an elementary school, successfully scarring the children for life. That's not exactly something I would call funny...~
I'll agree there. If it's friends scaring the *squee!* out of eachother, that's fine. But when it's on a mass scale like this, it can be terrifying and annoying. Especially if it's done on a constant basis, kinda like what's going on with this Clown craze. Though some people say it's to promote the Stephen King's IT remake. Eh, IDK anymore.
