Midnight gave him the death look, few ponies could withstand such a viscous look. "I'm sorry, but I don't remember inviting you into this Conversation. This is between me, Mrs Nice pony and Archy. There is no place for Gurmpy Hooves" she told him pointedly. She then nibbled on another bit of Candy, her stare was quite obviously telling him to get lost.
Silver, who had stared down creatures far more intimidating than a mere child, shook his head. "You would do well to learn to respect your elders, little girl."
"When said elder,s first learn and earn the respect, they will be shown what respect they deserve, at the moment, the amount of respect you have earned, equates to. Being spat at" she remarked.
Asmo chuckled. "Ouch, you just got burned, Grumpy Hooves! That's a nice nickname..." "I am concerned that a supposed child knows these words," said Azrael.
Midnight smirked, that nickname would indeed stick, she would call this pony Grumpy Hooves from now on. She glanced at Azrael, "In present company, its not surprising is it?" she queried.
"It should not be surprising," Silver replied, "The form may change, but..." Cricket shook her head. "Not quite. I'm sensing ill intent from her, true, but most of it is directed at you, Sil. This filly does NOT like you."
(Thinking) I'm not trying to cause trouble, nor am I a psychologist, but having a sword pointed at you, may not be conducive to you liking the wielder of said sword. Just thinking aloud.
Midnight snorted, this mare knew her perfectly. She continued to glare at Silver not liking his tone, attitude "The apple has fallen very far from the tree" she told him, she then turned her back on him and trotted back to Cricket and Architect. "this one gets it. You don't simply point a sword at someone, then don't apologies after you put it away. how would you like it if I began running around waving a sword around, then just put it away and carry on like nothing has happened" she remarked. She then sat down and ate some more candy.
"You know very well why my sword was unsheathed," Silver said to both of them. "And I do not need ponies to like me. That is not my role."

At almost three thousand bits, it was the most expensive liquor in the bar.
Silver half-smiled, and didn't respond. He didn't mind them thinking of him as a thoughtless zealot. The fact was, he'd had a hoof in some of the most important events in Equestrian history, had drafted a number of the country's laws, and had literally written the book on Equestrian battle tactics.
Midnight meanwhile began playing with one of the many things that Silver had got in his bag. While he was distracted with the other ponies she had began rummaging though his bag. She pocked some of his caps, and pulled out a book. 'Battle tactics of Equestria'. She began to read it in the corner of the room. It was rather interesting, and had pictures of decapitated ponies. Perfect for a filly of her age.
(What the hell are caps and how does one pock them?) Silver, not being the idiot Midnight thought him to be, was well aware she was going through his bag. It was, after all, an enchanted bag of holding, and nopony could pull anything out of it if he didn't allow it. He allowed her to dig around the non-dangerous items, to see what would draw her interest, and was amused to find that she'd grabbed one of his books-- a basic primer he'd written for the Royal Guard academy.
(Fallout Equestria currency, they replace bits. But i meant bits) Midnight blinked, her teeth hurt, she chewed on the thick leather cover, that helped considerably. She continued to chew the cover while reading it, she wanted another book, preferably with a hard cover she could chew.
Navaja finally stood back up after falling down the stairs, groaning. "Our heads hurt, too, Stabby McHoof," Asmo cracked.
Midnight finished reading the book and tossed it away, she then rummaged though the bag and grabbed another book, she levitated another bottle of milk from the bar, it would be added to Architects tab later on. She then drank some more and let out a burp, the bar darkened considerably, and then returned to normal.
