Midnight began scribbling drawings in his academy book, she used a big black pen to draw clouds among other things, across several pages in the book, that was covered in what looked like important information. She let out a second louder burb and the bar turned dark for several seconds, the lights feebly came back on, Midnight finished her bottle of milk and put it in the bag.
Silver sighed and shook his head as his book was destroyed. Fortunately, there were several thousand copies in existence, with more printed every year, so the book wasn't exactly irreplaceable.
Midnight closed the book, the book started off with random silly drawing that any normal might draw, though as the pages got towards the end, they began slightly more creepy, on the last page was a drawing, of the Royals getting burned at the stake, or stabbed in the heart. Strange drawings for a filly indeed, lucky nopony had wanted to look in the book. She also had Twilight Sparkle getting blown up by Tirek. Midnight shook her head confused, she then moved on to her notepad and began drawing pictures of normal things a filly might draw, mainly cutiemark possibility.
Arch: (Looking at Silver) I am somewhat familiar with Dark Magic, I don't use it, but I can if I need to. Why?
"Because Midnight clearly retains her shadow magic abilities." He looked at the filly thoughtfully. "I have a request, for her sake."
Depends on what this training entails. Price is no issue. (Summons his card with a gesture before banishing it again) Can you give me a rundown of what it will entail?
"You would not be charged for such a thing," Silver replied. "It is in her-- and Equestria's-- best interest that she not use her ability for evil." He glanced over at Blackout, who sat at another table with Cricket. "Simply put, she would be taught to use her power as he does... in service of the greater good, rather than for personal gain."
(i'm surprised you've not intervened yet. She could have opened a portal to the sun or somthing by now) Midnight was currently using her shadow magic for her own personal gain, she had gotten bored of waiting for either Christmas or her Birthday for a new set of coloring pens, since hers had ran out of ink. She had instead drew a packet of coloring pens, her horn glowed dark and the light within the bar flickered again. The coloring pens remained stubbornly on the page though. Her horn glowed again and the coloring pens teleported onto the floor of the bar, she let out a quick "yay". She picked them up and she began drawing on the table, and along walls. One of the chairs in the room began losing its color and then fell to pieces, the result of her magic.
Windsor, who as you'll recall is a sentient barstool, rushed to stop the child from destroying the bar that his consciousness was inextricably connected to. He scooped the filly up and set her unceremoniously on the table in front of Arch, then rushed to the back for cleaning supplies.
Midnight blinked at Arch, "I didn't do it" she remarked, she glanced around the bar and blinked at Blackout, who was another shadow magic user "he did it" she informed them, she then tried to scoot off the table to avoid any punishment being given out.
No no no. Don't lie, it's not very nice, understand? (Using his Instrumentum de Potestus, rewrites the chair into being fixed and cleans the walls and floor.) Liars don't get candy, ok?
Windsor returned with a sponge and bucket, and was pleased to find the walls were already cleaned. ************************************************************** Silver sighed. "Well, Architect? Will you allow the training?" The filly clearly needed a productive outlet for her abilities. It was clear to him that despite her regression in age, at least a part of her old self remained. For the good of everyone around her, that part of her needed to be snuffed out.
Midnight blinked, she liked candy. "Well maybe I did it" she sniffed the air hopefully, maybe she would get some candy now. "I won't lie" she promised. Midnight blinked at Silver "What training? are you going away?" she asked him, she didn't mind too much if Mr Grumpy Hooves went on a vacation for 'training'. She would be most pleased indeed.
Silver, I allow it, but conditionally, one, no brainwashing, two, I get to sit in and watch this training whether physically or through my various means of surveillance, and speaking of, that concert a while back was huge around Universes, they want more.
Silver nodded. "Very well. Just remember that if she is to be a citizen of Equestria, she must be taught our laws and values." He signaled to Blackout, who had heard most of the conversation, to come over. Blackout approached the filly. "Hey kid. You wanna learn how to use that magic right?"
Midnight was less then impressed with Blackout. "Excuse me?" she snorted, for one she didn't appreciate being called a 'kid'. For second she knew how to use her magic very well without any help. She glanced at Silver hoping this was a sort of joke, she then turned to Architect after realizing it wasn't, she might have to break the first rule after all. "What's to say I will allow it?" she asked him, she had her own powers after all, though she was slightly interested in there laws and customs. "You're my teacher? I'm doubtful you're even qualified, we can test this" she remarked. She would indeed show her ability's to him. Her horn glowed slightly and she did what she did with Architect, to make him move forward. She narrowed her eyes onto his, and did her own imprinting "Candy" she told him, she then tried to make him give her a piece of candy though her imprinting. She kept staring at him, time seemed to slow down within the room, each second taking a millenium, and every minute a eon.
"For buck sake." Raven held her hoof out, and Midnight began to levitate, as if the Bat pony had her own magic tricks. "Don't try to pull a Dusty, girl, please."
