Yeah, *squee!* that. My experiences ARE empirical data. You know how I know something happened? BECAUSE I *squee!*ING SAW IT HAPPEN. I'm getting really tired of your condescending bull*squee!*, Dragonbait.
I'ma just leave this here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaganomics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trickle-down_economics http://www.forbes.com/sites/georgel...-destructive-phrase-of-all-time/#3d98220d2555 https://mic.com/articles/104612/7-c...e-down-economics-has-been-an-enormous-failure
You asked me to let you know when I saw some trickle down money. You literally asked for a personal anecdote. When I was able to give you one, you responded that my personal experience, which I will state again you asked for, was meaningless. The trickle down effect, like every other economic theory in history, is flawed, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work under the right conditions. It's just that it works better with small businesses than it does with large corporations, because any company that answers to shareholders is expected to maximize profits at any cost.
Do you know of the "Screw you, I got mine?" term? Because that is pretty much what you are saying. My company gave everyone a raise, so if everyone would just work for a company like mine, everything would be unicorns and rainbows! I mean, all those people who aren't working for a company that gives out raises for everyone is obviously doing it by choice, right?!? They should all just get bootstrappy and find the magical job that gives out raises! Because those are everywhere! I mean, I've got one, why don't you!?! Also, net neutrality was good while it lasted. US folks, enjoy paying for tiered internet in the near future. Yay freedom... :/ http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-fcc-idUSKBN13H02B
This has got to be one of the funniest images I have seen in some time. Also: That raise would have been much bigger in a union shop. Anecdotal wage raises also don't take into account of the issue of wages largely remaining stagnant or falling for decades after factoring in inflation.
Time for weird facts you never wanted to know! In Minnesota, it is illegal to have sex with a live fish. (Dead fish are okay though.) In Bakersfield, California, anyone having intercourse with Satan must use a condom.
