I missed the episode on Saturday but saw it yesterday afternoon so all in all I enjoyed everything about the episode especially Apples To The Core and Pinkie Pie bonding with the Apple family.
Well. I'm falling pretty far behind. I really need to catch up with this season, y'know. But omg, slendermane is canon?
I absolutely loved this. I'm not a super AJ fan, but I think she deserved this episode. The song was great - had that classic "raise this barn" and "smile song" theme to it that I found incredibly uplifting. The dark aura surrounding this season seemed to be temporarily lifted, to my personal delight. I'm really starting to love Pinkie's insanity - it allows her to ignore the... how do I say it... superficial concerns of others and see right past to what matters, if I dare be that deep when talking about PP. 9/10, loved it. And AppleBloom's little dance... adorable.
I take back what I said about the song... It's been stuck in my head all week. You're more fun than the colour pink Or balloons flying over your favorite drink The love I feel here is swim, not sink As we party across this land.
The song was playing in my head for a little while, then I totally forgot how the song goes, when I went to my friends house and I had so much fun and for long time I forgot how the song goes. - - Auto Merge - - I wonder if Pinkie Pie is in the apple family? - - Auto Merge - - I never saw the slender man in the background when I was watching that episode. Maybe I should more see it carefully...
I thought this episode was ok. Not my favorite. That distinction belongs to Bats. But I loved the song. One of my favorite songs overall. Still doesn't hold a candle to Helping Twilight Win the Crown though. I wish they had answered whether or not Pinkie was a part of the Apples. Would have been nice to know. But not bad for a filler.
I couldn't stop laughing when Apple Bloom sung Applicious. xD For anyone that missed it, it was at 10:40.
I liked it precisely because there was no definite answer at the end. All those episodes where the happy ending is guaranteed are a bit boring, like the previous one with Rarity winning the contest after all.
Loved it, loved it, loved it. I liked Applejack a lot. She's by far the most relatable in my opinion. Her worries about Pinkie Pie seeing the "bad" side of her families ring very true. No fancy magic or coolness factor, by far the most real of characters. One of the best songs ever. Pinkie Pie being hilarious as usual. I also don't see the problem with the so called "filler" episodes. To me, every episode except the first and the last of each season are "filler" episodes and that's perfectly ok. Not every episode has to be about saving the world.
Well, yeah. Rarity's character storyline from the beginning has been her fashion career. Therefore, she had to win the big city fashion show, because at that point in the story it was the next logical step. After that came her finally getting her shop in Canterlot (her goal since S1), and then expanding her business to Manehatten.
Just checking. I know a few people who whine and complain about "oh this show is so predictable that it's sickening." You don't seem like one of them.
If I did that, I would stop watching pretty much every American cartoon and movie. I take the show for what it is.
