I haven't been active on here regularly since 2011. Been on and off since then. I remember the radio being real popular. Now it seems really quiet. I guess people have unfortunately moved on? Same thing is happening to a lot of brony forums. Maybe all migrated to reddit. If so then damn I have a lot of good memories on this forum, and it was one of the few things that kept me going in life, as I was in a very depressed state back then.
It's dying, certainly, but it's a slow death. I figure we've still got quite a bit of painful lingering left before the end.
I'd like to think EP's going to be around at least as long as the 4th Gen itself will, but time will tell if that's just wishful thinking on my end.
Unfortunately, yes it's dying, but slowly. I really like this place too, TBH. I've met a lot of awesome folks on here and most of them just left..... But yeah, I guess people have moved on to better things. :/
I suppose it isn't. Most of my brony friends don't watch mlp anymore. And it does seem like the brony community as a whole is dying slowly. I think the show will still have a huge cult following, and it seems the show is still successful financially. I don't think a lot people expected it to last this long. Maybe the new pony movie will bring back the community, but that might be wishful thinking.
I think the show popularity already reached peak. It's not something new and exciting anymore. It's more like those Ghostbusters fans that like to dress up. It's nice but there's not anything new that will attract new people. Oh well, it's not like we didn't know this was going to happen.
I dunno. The fact that people outside the targeted demographic could watch the show without looking foolish was in part what got my attention in the first place, so there's that if nothing else. That, and there's plenty of humor to go around.
Activity does tend to slow down a bit during the hiatuses. It'll pick up again when the season rolls around.
^ Pretty much. I remember all the hype for season two and the introduction of Discord. People were so hyped that a big time actor was voicing him.
Uh...huh? All that fuss just because Twilight picked up wings and an actual title to go with that crown? That's weird, man.
