Here's a thread to help each other out. You state what is the most serious problem that you're dealing with at the moment, or one of the problems you're dealing with, and the rest try to come up with suggestions, preferably not obvious ones, but nothing dangerous or counterproductive, of course.

Note that this doesn't substitute honest to god legal or medical advice or anything else that requires a professional.

Now, I want to make something very clear, there is no small or trivial problem. So, if your problem is that you don't know where to find information for a school report, do not thing it's not valid or that you shouldn't post it. Just because someone just posted that they lost a loved one, doesn't mean that you are not affected by your problems.

Ok, I'll start. Right now, I'm having problems finding writing jobs on Freelancer.com. I have good reviews but there's a lot of competition and some writers really underbid me. The kind of price that makes it hard for me to compete.

I'd suggest lowering your own bids for the time being, until you've built up a good enough reputation that people will start to seek you out. Then you can start bidding higher, and people will be more willing to pay you what you're worth.
It's kinda like starting out at minimum wage and working your way up to management. "Paying your dues," as it were.

Well, my primary problems are that I'm running low on finances and high on pounds, but I'm currently in the middle of dealing with both by cutting down on my snack runs.

I already have about 65 reviews, but I guess I have no other choice. To make matters worse, it turns out you can only apply to 8 jobs per month. I found out that yesterday. Bummer.

I think the weight problem is simple, just eat a healthy diet, drink water, do 30 mins of walking every day and that's pretty much it. If you add 7 hours of sleep, then you'll also feel better.

For the finances, well, I don't know about that.

Two of those things I already do. I don't drive, so I make two 20-minute round trips to work each day, and on average I drink close to a liter and half of water. My weight's primary cause is that I have a major weakness for mac & cheese and junk food (and soda pop, once upon a time). Given time, I'm confident I can deal with this.

I think my biggest problem lately is the head framer at work.
I keep having to cut metal back from holes that his crew wasn't supposed to cover in the first place, and he keeps *squee!*ing that I'm ruining his metal.
It's been getting kinda ugly lately.

I think the real problem is that he's a big dude, and he's used to intimidating people into doing what they're told.
Since I'm not someone who's easily intimidated, he keeps pushing harder and harder each time.
At first, I found the idea that a grown ass man was trying to bully me laughable, but this *squee!* just ain't funny anymore.

I'm kinda worried that it's gonna get physical, and I really don't want to lose my job over something as stupid as fighting this ignorant bastard.

    Easy.

Do I continue to force myself to take the bad tasting medicine or do I take the bad tasting medicine and shove it down everyone else's throats and see how they like the bad tasting medicine?

    In other words...

Do I stay in the MLP: FiM fandom or do I leave it?

I ABSOLUTELY LOATH not finishing what I start... but...

I legitimately can't take this crap anymore where they're shoving CRAP characters in my face and just expecting me to like them and accept all this 'redemption' BS.

    Yeah... no.

It's looking more and more likely that I'm going to have to seriously think about this. With a major decision like this it'll likely take me a few days possibly weeks or months.

    *sighs*

It's unbelievable that only a couple years ago this series saved my year and I was sure I'd last until the end of it.

Please, for the love of whatever deity you believe in, just *squee!*ing LEAVE already.

It's obvious you don't enjoy the show anymore, and at this point, you're just being toxic to those of us who are still fans.

Actually, you know what? It's not your decision anymore.

I'm kicking you out of the fandom.
    Just like that.
You are no longer a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan.
    Don't you feel free now?
You no longer have to bear the burden of this terrible show!

Now please, go find something else to latch onto and suck the joy out of.

As far as serious problems go, I think we just identified another one.

    That's easy. Leave.

There is nothing positive that the show is bringing to your life anymore. You don't have an obligation to nobody to continue. Just go and look for something that satisfies your life more.

I've already decided to watch S7.

If I still feel this way after S7, or if things don't change, or if there's only more evidence of the same, then I'll be forced to make my decision before S7 ends.

Either way my decision is likely coming sometime this year possibly as soon as S7 starts. Though I may give it some time for the season to keep going first.

I haven't even finished S4. Civilization V eats up pretty much all of my free time.

Didn't you say something to that effect before S6? And you whined about Starlight being "NOT REDEEMED" every single episode she was in. Then she saves Equestria and you keep dodging the question of what it would take for her to be redeemed in your god-like opinion! It's apparent that you never WANTED to like her and you only stick around just so you can bore us with your insufferable whining! Don't blame the writers, don't blame the majority of fans who actually DO like the show's current direction, and for God's sake, stop trying to play it off like you are the victim and the only one with any damn sense at all! You whine and you complain but you keep coming back for the attention. My advice, save us all the headache and find somewhere else to shed your tears. We're sick of it!

    Good day to you, sir.
