i wish there was an option that said "other" when it asked about gender. the unspecified option doesnt show up on my profile. i-im sorry if this complaint is stupid, y-you can ignore it if you'd like.... i-im sorry for wasting your time..
Sounds like this should be in Bug Reports. I've still got the "Unspecified" option on my Personal Details page. Are you sure you're looking in the right place?
Ah-da-da-da-da-da! No need to shy away. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to ask and something that we've never thought of before. Because we've been doing millions of other things. It turns out this has been raised by many, many people as a thing about Xenforo and it seems like a thing that you'd need to go in and add yourself. Which we sort of have: being 'Undefined'. You're allowed to withhold your gender on the forum and appear as whatever you like. The little thing where you can also be different species with different gender also does this where you can be one, the other or just the species. It's what we've got and this is the first it's been raised as a possible issue. If there's more call for an 'Other', I'll look into it further for a change on the site but I am limited by what I have to hand and Xenforo's currently stuck with 'Male/Female/No Thank You' for the moment. It can be argued as a kind of a meaningless thing to do on a forum where you can present yourself as a fire-breathing fox with two tails that barks on and on and ruddy on about tabletop games because of the anonymity a forum is based around. Your persona is what's scrutinised and interacted with. Though, people like customising them to fit themselves, no matter who they are, because it represents them. I dunno, there's a conversation to squeeze from there. But, Xenforo hasn't directly built non-binary in but given an alternative all the same. I'm of two minds on this.
Honestly, I was horribly disappointed when I learned that Tyro actually is not a firebreathing fox with two tails.
