So while I was updating the chrysalis theme for my site I was making a new background in a minimalist style and I really enjoyed the hell out of it so I took 2 requests from my friends and I think I found an art style I really love.
So I'm trying to learn better hand eye co-ordination with my tablet so im using it as my mouse for a week I also looked up a tutorial on how to get better with it and one was to get any pony image and trace over it with your OC's colors and I kinda like how this RD trace turned out so here have a thing
The feathers look a bit pointy to me, other than that, nice! I like the color scheme and hair/mane style Oh, also, the back of the right front hoof is also a bit too pointy IMO ^.^
Gee I wonder who this pony is ??? She looks familiar... This is mostly just a re-design concept I was messing around with in sai but it may be the future for this character.
Okay that last image was just a concept for her re-design, I took that into account along with her current design and made her new official design :3
So, sad to admit but for now I think I may retire from drawing shyra, I really love the character but because she is based of my now deceased friend if I try to draw her I find it hard to continue. Although recently a friend of mine who I also now have grown feelings for asked me to draw her as a pony so I guess I have a new OC. I'm still gonna be messing around with the mane and stuff but this is her for now.
Uhhh, another super talented artist. Sherbert look's so incredible cute, especially her muzzle and her ears. I also like the accents in her mane. I also have one question, the inklings in you signature, did you draw them yourself?
