umm ok anyone know where i can get one of these in the picture? i only knew about the sword length combat machete they sell on think geek for tactical stuff besides the normal length combat machette that i use for yard work.

also anyone have a prefered sharpening method?
i personaly use one of those little knife sharpeners that uses carbide blades to cut the rough edge in and then uses porcelain blades to fine tune the sharpness after and i go way beyond the instructions. i actually hone my blades on that thing till they are at least sharp enough to make clean cuts in 3 or four layers of denim so basicly as sharp or sharper than a new case xx pocket knife.

as for my collection. if this thread stays popular i will send pics and a link to the youtube vid of the self defense dagger i carry chopping through corn cobs. ok so the vid is not as sharp as i want it but with a good swing it goes clean through the cob and kernels with no problem

I like these. They have a seatbelt cutter and a window breaker.
Perfect for dragging someone's ass out of a burning car.

Seatbelt cutter actually doesn't work so well on mine. Better off using the main blade, which I keep sharp like a scalpel.
    Window breaker works great, though.
