    No school this Wednesday due to teachers striking against the pension stuffies. Wow, this country is so screwed. But on the up side, You get to put up with me AAAALLL DAY!

    Because apparently they're 'poorly-paid' and have crap pensions. It's stupid the amount of times they've gone on strike this term, I think my college alone has done it 3 times. It's ridiculous.

    In America, GRADE SCHOOL teachers have some of the lowest pay available, but they get tons of benefits. (Sans university proffesors and private tutors. Those make tons of money and mostly have the same benefits.)
    I only know of one time that teachers went on strike, and that was long ago.
    I'm more worried about our economy, but that falls within politics.
    And I HATE POLITICS.

    In Texas, snow is a language that is very foreign.
    We DID have a huge snowstorm in February and partway into March. No school for 4 days? Hell yes.
