"18th Jan 2013, 03:37 PM" Holy Jesus! This was made on the same day I came to the site! Anyway...Do you happen to play any instruments?
So many questions! :ahh: Okay, here we go. I'd go up north of Toyko into the Gunma Prefecture in Japan to ski/snowboard with the guys I met there and bring along my friend (who now lives in Oregon) that introduced me to them in the first place. I've used it for years and originally came from one of the first D&D books I ever read - Azure Bonds. He was the Lizardman Paladin and he was awesome. Only when it's fancy enough for Fancy pants to appreciate. But I normally don't wear clothes. I used to play piano a bit, but it's been years since I've done anything on it. I still remember all the basics though. In high school I played French Horn and Mellophone for concert and marching band respectively. In jazz band I played the trumpet. I still have my trumpet, but it's in storage. I did get pretty good at guitar hero and rock band :derpe:
I've been curious for a while. Is the OC in your avatar a mare or just a stallion with eyelashes and REALLY big hair? Furthermore, what is the backstory that goes along with your OC?
Of the enduring philosophical questions, which is the most deserving of continued attention and which is the least?
No sir, I don't like it. It made it too much like a MMORPG. I like 3.5 or pathfinder. Also, I was in a gaming store a few weeks ago and saw the RIDICULOUS amount of manuals they have for 4th edition. Yeah, you'll not get my money for that crap. My avatar is currently a mare. Originally was a stallion and sometimes I go back. I'm just so damn pretty though. Dragonbait never was originally supposed to be me, but it ended up that way and I'm happy with it. Most deserving - Why are we here? Least - Why do we die? Two was the best. Never got into X. Got 9 & 10 for the PS3 but haven't played them much. Uh, this one. Duh! :derpe: Maybe. I was at a concert last night. Saw Filter & Stone Temple Pilots. :3
3.5 also had a fairly ridiculous number of books as well. The real issue (I think) was the new books added content that were always either strictly better or strictly worse than that of the core books. Like Warblade (vs. Fighter) or Healer (vs. Cleric) respectively. The only exception I know of is Truenamer. Truenamer was a tier of its own. Truenamer was like a toaster that wasn't plugged in: You can't tell if it's good or bad, it just doesn't work. Anyway, thoughts? Sent from my SGH-T899M using Tapatalk
Yeah, but in 3.5 there was a lot more leeway for "house rules". You could have a player's guide and a dm's guide and make whatever you wanted from there. I saw player's handbook vol 3 for 4th edition? Same for the DM's guide. Yeah, no. Never got into the extra classes as much. I always like my RPs to be more about story and solving puzzles than rolling dice.
Very much so! I actually got to see him live a few years ago. He puts on a really, really good show! If you ever get the chance, go to one of his concerts!
There are stories of Dragonbait, all as a mare. But the actual change is not a story, just made the switch and ran with it. Maybe it should be... Hmmmm...
