Hello~! I'm requesting longer signatures (as well as more room--I keep seeing many cut off signature images and I wish to have my own eventually, but on top of a few lines of text. I like to have my signature updated with my chapters, but I'm right at the limit now. I tend to like having a bit more information with it. Anyway, just suggesting/asking for an increase, nothing substantial. It just feels quite limited or constricted right now. I'm well aware of the fear of people having massive signatures, so I can understand where the small limit comes from.
Back then when there were only a few in this community (Like the first 300-400 members), we had a signature limit of 1,000 characters. After the update down to 250 characters, I still had a 1,000 character signature. Eventually I went down to another signature which was around 249 characters. I would suggest using TinyUrl or the Pony link shortener Oatnu pretty much helps conserve a bit of character space if you like to. Also, you could try to simplify words such as "Chapter" to Chp./Ch.

The pixel limit isn't going to change. The character limit I'm happy to discuss, although I would prefer it if you could follow DRD's suggestions beforehand and see if that makes any difference?
I have my links reduced, but there's other stuff I would like to include in it, unrelated to what's already there.

Yes, I'm also fine with the current limit. In fact, My Sig Cycler crops images to that size. (Ones larger than 800x200 it.) As for the character limit, You can always use URL shorteners like oat.nu And the like.
I don't use URLs or links in my sigs. Whenever I try to post a rather long quote by somebody that I feel is important (Like something out of a speech), I try to put it there. But nope, the Character Limit gets to me, so I have to paraphrase, which gets extremely annoying every time I try to do it. I'm fine with the sig sizes, it's the character limit I'm sorta offed about.
