The issue here isn't if Sony wants to allow it or not. Sony is the only one in the gaming market refusing to do cross platform gaming. Microsoft is doing it. Just about any other gaming company is doing it. But Sony is the only refusing to take the next step in gaming. And it's abundantly clear this is the case with them preventing the transfer of online PS4 accounts to the Switch for Fortnite.
I don't normally pay attention to that end of things cause it generally doesn't affect the kind of games I play.
There are reasons I've kept my gaming to PC for the most part. My ps3 is mainly just a blu ray player and streaming device now.
Honestly, this is one time I will agree with you Dragonbait. Having everything on PC does reduce headaches a lot aside from PC related issues. But either way yeah. You really will not need to worry about console BS that way. Yes. Yes, it does help.
The only Nintendo console I don't have is a Wii. Hell, I still have my old Virtual Boy buried in the back of my closet.
All of my major consoles are Nintendo handhelds. As far as home consoles ago, my family's never owned anything past a Super NES, and that one was just because I got a job in the past 11 years. We've had a Sega Genesis, Atari Jaguar and Nintendo 64 in the house before, but those were just on loan to my brother from his friends. So, in no particular order: NES, Super Nes, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Advance, Pocket (my first one), SP, DS, 2DS, New 2DS. Oh, and an Atari emulator that was on sale at the grocery store. Though, it should also be noted that if one of my friends hadn't bragged about his Pokemon Gold team way back when, I would never have owned any handhelds at all. ()^_^
