Hmm... Well, I don't think just trying to fit clouds in there would look right. Maybe you could go the same route like in the everypony theme. Add a "bush" of clouds, but different. I'll be sure to look at tweaking it later in the week, it's doesn't appear to be a primary concern atm though.
^BUMP What's more important to you guys? -> REP -> Chatroom -> Something else feature wise (think Cutie Marks/Galleries) -> More skins/better skins EDIT: I spoke to Aaron (at the hiveworkshop), he said if he gets time he'll give me a hand converting the Cutie system to site hosting - i.e. you can upload your cutie directly to this site like an avatar and don't have to worry about the image getting moved. -> Anything else... ?
I'd say the most important to least would be: Rep MORZ CONTENTZ (Because, adding the repz makes people want to put more content) Chat Cutie Marks Skins (Although, working more on the current themes could help. At least three themes) Other Stuffs
Rep's not all that important with the size of the community as it is really, it'll be more worthwhile when the member size gets larger. A chat would be a nice way to attract new members (a lot of people live in chats in sites), but of course that doesn't lead itself to much valid conversation until the community grows a little more.

(Default no count) To make them better, we could: Mess with the tabs Throw in some pics. (Like Pinky Pie pointing at the "Reply to Thread" button and saying, "Go on,do it." in a bubble) Maybe sacrifice some goats... We don't want to try to pretty it up too much, just to where it doesn't look too plain, but catches the eye. But what we really need is content. In Equestria Daily, they have things like: Comic of the day/Comics of people Vid of the day/Funny Vids Story of the day/Stories News of the day/Just News Community Contests/Group Contests I think the only thing they don't have is a forum.
Don't have a forum eh? We'll get some of that other stuff - we just need a decent number of members to 'submit' it. The thing with themes is - too flashy and the site will load A LOT slower - you have to balance it carefully - more themes is an option but random pinkie pie pics everywhere probably isn't. I'm actively looking for a chat, one of my favourites doesn't seem to work with 4x vb, flashchat is well... let's just say no. Custom coding is not time-effective (But at this rate...). I saw one other I liked, but there is no documentation or instructions on 'bridging' it with Vbulletin... I'll have to look into it - or we could use without usernames (not ideal really...) Anything else are just crappy little 'add on' boxes at the top/bottom of the pages - not proper chatrooms. Or of course 'premium chats' - there great - probably worth 'payment' but not £20-£200 PER MONTH lol... (yeah I know <.<)
Another forum I'm on (doesn't run VB though) uses phpfreechat but doesn't have names synced. It works well for a free chat, but we abuse the ability to change your name a lot haha
Oh really? That's very interesting seeing as there is a bridge tut for pretty much every forum software but VB (phpbb3, SMF etc). Do you like the chat though, performance/feature wise?
Performance wise it works very well, no lagging or bugs As for why it's not bridged, it's probably just that the site owner doesn't understand the code to do it or so, he also says he can't add sounds or emoticons but it looks like those are probably easily customizable.
Ok REP is active, still needs A LOT of tweaks, for e.g. You can't actually see the amount you have yet (not noticeably anyway). But a quick rundown of the first gems; 6 Purples, 5 rep each. 4 Greens, 10 rep each. 3 Reds, 50 rep each. They are cumulative so someone with 120 rep would have 6 purples, 4 greens And 1 red. The system and points per gem may change but your rep counts will stay as they are now, we won't mess with them :3 10 PTs default. 2 purples for every1! Chatroom next on the to-do list. If you had to choose; Chatroom without username integration Or chat'box with username integration? (just curious)
Probably chatroom, chatboxes often seem to be distracting and difficult to use - on every page, not full fledged chat, etc. etc.
Same. Chat room. If we wanted to chat, we could just go to the room. No need for the boxes everywhere.

Chatroom is what we need. Well, at least we got the rep to work somehow; Grey and me stayed up all night trying to figure out how to make the box appear that says your amount of rep. That, and talk about love :3 btw, nice chatroom design. I hope it's customizable as in, pictures, etc.
Maybe you should make the "add reputation" button a appear a little larger, or move it closer to where rep is actually displayed - it's a bit difficult to find atm (down by the report post button at the bottom of the post)
I thought that was where the rep button always was. But saying that, I like always forget to use rep on other sites because it's down there and I don't really notice it. I guess the logic behind it is that it's down there because people are looking down there after they read the post.
Reputation, as it is now, Is just a "placeholder". A lot of tweaking, redoing, recoding, rewriting is needed. Our main problem now that needs to be solved is to get this done: When you move your arrow over the "rep gems", after a second or so the number of reputation one user has should appear. Pretty much like in the hive, for the guys that are from there.
