I laughed so hard at that. Just imagine, 30 of us driving down a main road, on little pink trikes, making motorbike noises.
Reminds me of that old episode of South Park with the bikers that made all the loud "vroom vroom" sounds. lol
I love South Park. It's the best animated show on TV.... ...ahem... EDIT: Just been sent to the moon. See you in 3011.
And apparently, the moon has free wifi access. Well, that's one good thing about the moon at least. Unless Luna is still there. Then that's two. <3
Escape what eventually? Your bronydom? No, there's no escape. Resistance is futile. I must say, some of you have more testicular fortitude ("balls") than I do. I don't think I'd have the aforementioned fortitude to buy any merchandise... yet. If I did purchase anything though, it'd be a shirt. Perhaps one with Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. For bronies, the symbol would be obvious, but to non-bronies I can just say, "Hey, it has a lightning bolt. You know me, I love lightning. Heh heh." *Awkward Moment* Yeah...
I am a closet brony. I'm not ashamed of being a twenty year old woman who watches the show, I just don't advertise. Recent events have made me the black sheep in my family and while ponies are not a bad thing I'm pretty sure my parents aren't thinking "Wow if my daughter loved ponies we would be so proud of her." So it's not that I am ashamed more than it is I'm afraid my parents will be ashamed of me, so for them I stay up late watching the show at low volumes and singing along quietly with all the songs. I love ponies
It's a shame you still have to worry about parents, I live with several housemates, none of which I care to know, they are meatheads that are too unintelligent and macho for me to want to associate with, despite this I play Pony music at a normal volume. I'm pretty sure my non-brony best friend at school knows I write a Brony Blog, as I didn't hide it very much. It's going to be an awkward conversation when I see him next, I just hope he's not a hater. I thought about hiding the extent of my bronydom from him, but I decided it's too much effort. The Pony Wallpapers are going to stay on my desktop when he comes over next.
You're 20 years old and you still care what your parents think about you? You need more ovular fortitude B). P.S., female fans are called honies, ponies, or fillies, not bronies.
I'm fully open with my friends and family about being addicted to MLPFiM. They all say that I need to go to pony rehab after I just bought the Fluttershy doll at Target xD I guess I have it easier though because I'm a girl.
nothing makes me happier than hearing my dad say "I'm proud of you." I really don't care what people think of me, never have. He's the only person whose opinion of me I care about at all, I've given up trying to please my mom
If I were as brave as some of you... I could take on the world.. Or at least wear a Fluttershy shirt. I hope I can be that brave someday too.. Even if right now I just want to hide in the bushes.
I had been considering up until recently hiding my bronyism. But I figured that would be too much effort as I wouldn't be able to advertise my pony related projects and I have to deliberately not favourite pony videos I like on Youtube, because my friends go through my favorites. So decided screw it and I advertised my Brony Blog in my latest video which my non-brony friend saw he didn't comment about the blog on the video and I'm going to be seeing him in less then a day. I'll see if my friends are tolerant. The next step of bravery will be if I'll dare visiting pony websites, on my laptop at school in front of everyone. Not sure if I'll go that far yet.
Well I for one as a rather reclusive and hesitant brony myself would love to help people come to grips with it anyway I can. Things like Brony meetups, voice chatting to other bronies and converting a few friends CAN and WILL help your confidence I assure you but at the end of the day you've got to be who you want to be, it's best you come clean and tell people as opposed to them finding you hiding it. It's like bullying - if you ignore them they go away. If your found hiding ponies people will judge because well... If your hiding it surely there's something wrong with watching it? On the other hand if you tell them you like ponies - You'd be surprised on a lot of reactions. Mainly "What have you been smoking?" and "..Why?" - Sure these aren't perfect responses but there a lot better than being ridiculed :derpe:
