Then things get strange.

 

In all my years of living in the San Francisco Bay Area, every gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual I met claimed this just wasn't so - they would often spend a few days asking other people, making comments, and even daring to ask questions to find out. I think it varies, personally. Some people came out to me, and I was all, "Oh, I thought it was obvious." Others came out, and I was "What?! Really?! Good gravy! I would never have guessed!"

If you really do have some psychic link, then that does save you a lot of trouble, I suppose, but I'm not really sure there is such a thing as "gaydar."

 

I think QI actually revealed that there were experiments into a working "gaydar" and it did work, but its application was made redundant so they scrapped it.
In terms of a psychic link, perhaps one of higher intellect on the matter could fill you in.
