it's cool dudebro. weird though I must say. You remember that rarity pic you drew awhile back. Today I started one just like it, with my OC of course. I just love that pic.
Yes! I love that picture. It Is currently my phone and ipod wallpaper. I think I'm obessed with it. So now I want to try my hand at a Lupr style drawing. I'm having fun doing it. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Wow, really? It was a very quick drawing, didn't think anybody would like it to that extent. Very happy to hear it. I'm more proud of more recent and dedicated drawings, such as Working on detail now. Thing is, I still haven't found a specific style of art, I'm constantly experimenting. Maybe a good thing, maybe not, who knows. I'd save this discussion for the art thread, if anybody used it.
If you wanna talk about it I'll meet you there and we can disscuss it. Your style has always been awesome to me. I don't even have one. I keep seeing one little mistake and scraping the whole thing. I slowly learning that it is part of growing as an artist and I should just finish the pieace I'm working on. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Really? I didn't know anyone was watching my art, so to speak. I'm quite flattered, as I never advertise or ask for attention on my stuff, so I take a sort of pride in the fact that anyone who watches, subscribes or whatever does so because they want to. That means a lot. It's why I never ask people to check my stuff out or subscribe to me, I'd rather know who wants to see it and who really likes it. But yeah you should definitely keep working at stuff. I'm terrible for not finishing projects I start, be it art or music. If I'm not happy with it from the beginning, I get frustrated and give up. I shouldn't, and it is something I'm working on. You should never be afraid to fail, and you should always keep trying. Every day get stuck in, try something new, and push yourself. It sounds counterproductive, but do something you can't do and will fail at. It will suck at first, but you get better. I'd love for a place where artists of all abilities (I'm talking from Crookedtrees, Sweatshirt and J. Charles Machievelli to a 12 year old who can't draw a straight line) where everyone helps each other. DeviantART is frankly just a showcase for work. Criticism and advicec is seldom given. Maybe one day there'll be a forum or something. Just like, a massive assembly of artists who want to learn and get better, so they all share not just their work, but their techniques, advice and all sorts. I would just love to see a place like that. It's really nice to see a talented artist so determined to help others rather than just bask in their glory.
>art style Art is a medium. As such, I just draw as is befitting the situation. Case in point. Incidentally, some sort of ship is now cannon. Dunno which, but this proves it is forever. That said, I'm going to try to con my parents into getting moi a graphics tablet. Mostly for notes and such in class, but it'll also let me get some of that drawing practice in that people in my school wanted me to get. Until then, MSPaint mouse art GET!
Your one of my favorite artist. I always love seeing a new picture uploaded by you. I saw this one forum where the OP offered to be a teacher for about 20 people. I'd love to have something like that on this site. I don't about the persons skill level. If they enjoy it I want them to help me and I want to help them. I don't seek fame. I just want to learn and put my heart into my drawing. If by some strange reason people enjoy it and want more, I'd glady offer more. This and music have been one thing that I have fun while doing it. While I scrap drawings, my music doesn't get scraped, I just alter parts of it. I trying to bring that into my drawings. I need to fail at something if I want to be better. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Are you making fun of me. Also yeah, yeah lemons. I know where it comes from now. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Nothing wrong with MS Paint and a mouse, son. My tools of the trade until 2 months ago. Seriously though, heavily recommend a tablet. Easy to use and effective. I'd recommend the Wacom Bamboo Pen (or Pen and Touch, the one I have). I got it for my birthday, but it only cost around £30. Dude this is exactly what I'm getting at. Spot on. You've put it exactly how I wanted. It kind of irks me when people say 'I wish I could draw', implying it's some innate gift. Anyone can draw. It's just tutorial can only do so much. To be immersed in a community of both established artists and people in the same situation would be immensely helpful. It's why I use the Random Pony Art Thread instead of my own. Sharing work is nice, but I liked the idea of a thread where everyone interested in art can discuss, teach and learn. It just doesn't seem to be the case, desipte a heavy interest in art among users here.
Well flank my plot and call me a filly, his voice acting is amazing, it inspires me to do better in that field.
I wish you the best of luck in that field snowy. Perhaps if I get good with my music I could bug you for voice samples. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
