    Back on topic . . .

I think that perhaps when one is young, labels to help a bit. It points people in the right general direction, but as we get older, we begin to understand the weakness of labels, and it becomes rarer and rarer for reasonable people to use them.

My favorite anti-gay comment is "It's not natural - you don't see it in the wild." Well, aside from the fact that you do, I always point out that you don't see animals reading the bible, so that must not be natural. Shuts them right up.

One other somewhat on-topic question - I wonder whatever happened to Pnukup, the fellow who started this thread. He didn't stick around long.

Hey, all! Been a while since my last post on this topic, actually. Well, Remember when I said I might be Bi, about a month or so ago? I said I wasn't quite sure about it, but that it was possible... Well now I'm pretty dang sure. I've been thinking hard about it, and I believe I am certainly Bi. Woo! Thought I'd share that with y'all, as ya do, because its quite nice finally being sure of that.

They say wisdom comes with age.
Dwynter actually makes me believe that.

The idea of a dwynter-fandance is a bit - scary.

Well, there's got to be some good reason to get old.

I like labels because they make me feel comfortable, secure in myself. Also, pnukup is over at the Canterlot forums, I believe (I get around a lot),

That's great to hear! Well it'd be great to hear regardless of your sexuality, its just great to hear that you're sure of yourself, and have accepted it (which is far better than how I did when I first discovered it)! Congratulations, bro!

I did try to clear that up a couple of pages ago, but evidently I was ignored. I Didn't write this to express my opinions or morals, this is all fact.

I really don't want to keep quoting this but seeing people and their uncertainty makes me nervous of them believing misconceptions. If you're unsure, please read this, or ask me. I know what I'm talking about in this department, I don't spout this out for fun.

Sunburn, the answer to your question is in there.

    Lupr, that was brilliant.

I previously thought that sexuality was probably ambiguous for everyone to some extent, but I didn't really have much of a logical explanation for it. It all makes sense now :O

Personally I don't care where human sexuality comes from. I like labeling myself as gay simply because its easier to identify with others and I feel less alone in who I am.

    I feel safer, I guess.

The point is, Chap; you're a unique individual. Applying a label to yourself is self-limiting.
Rise beyond that label, is what Lupr is trying to say.
