So I'm supposed to find the displacement of each of the following segments.

And well... the answer is in the back of the book, but he wants work showing how to get to that answer.

Like I know displacement isn't all that hard, but all the other questions such as Acceleration/Speed/Velocity all in one equation gets me confused even though he showed us the three used formulas.

      Haha, true.

Anyways it's about One-Dimensional Kinematics. Such as...
      -Position
      -Distance
      -Displacement
      -Average Speed and Velocity
      -Instantaneous Velocity
      -Acceleration
      -Motion with Constant Acceleration
      -Freely Falling Objects

My professor just graded my first homework assignment and I got a 45/60 points, which isn't too bad. Considering I made a couple mistakes.

Anyways, here is an example/question on my list of questions. (This question has the word horseback so I'm going to say ponyback.)

"A person on horseback moves according to the velocity-versus-time graph shown in"figure here(I'll give you the coordinates.)" Find the displacement of the person for each of the following segments of the motion. A, B, and C.

      X-Axis is Time(s) in seconds.
      Y-Axis is Velocity(v) in m/s.

      (0 s, 0 m/s) Obviously
      Line A from the Origin. (10 s, 2 m/s)
      Line B from end of Line A (10 s, 2 m/s) to (15 s, 6 m/s)
      Line C from end of Line B (15 s, 6 m/s) to (25 s, 2 m/s)

Be sure to let me or anyone else on the site know if you need anything, whether that be support, or just a question in general on this site. ~Saikyo
