I have been a brony technically since gen 2. But back then, well, I was too young and shy to admit my fondness for the bright colored ponies, and there was really only one element in the early mlp that I couldn't stand, the human aspect. When this generation of ponies aired, I was super excited to see that there were no humans! And also while shopping at the mall shortly thereafter, I saw a shirt that made my heart soar, it was a dark grey shirt with a mono toned Pegasus, with the word "BRONY" above it. I bought it without hesitation, I wish I had the funds to attend a bronycons, but I have rent and bills to pay, and not alot of business, so I have to settle for trying to cobble a bronymeet of my own.
