"I can't really draw to give you anything back." *** She shrugged slightly.
He took it with a smile. "Thank you." *** She looked over at him thoughtfully. "Sure. Will I have to sneak in?"
He tilted his head. "Sure." *** She shrugged. "I'm not really sure."
He gave her a grin. "I do like the drawing." *** "I knew it."
"I'm not good at this either," he amended. "We'll learn together."
"You don't have to apologize," he said easily. "I'm just not sure what to say."
He frowned, tilting his head. "I'm not sure what to say if it keeps getting disregarded."
"You're really intelligent," he said simply. "And you write in your field guide and learn about people and things others normally wouldn't think...
"It's not like you don't have other things that interest me. Your mind is quite fascinating." *** "Charming? Like you?" she teased.
He was watching her seriously. "That doesn't change my opinion." *** She laughed. "Perfect."
"..You are too." *** "Mm. Fine then."
His blush deepened and he looked down embarrassedly. "Thank you.." *** "Can't we be both?"
He blushed, looking surprised at her. "What?" *** She laughed. "If you say so."
He gave her a small smile. "What?" *** "Oh? You don't like compliments?'
He returned the gaze, his expression curious. *** "Do what?"
He looked up at her warmly. "I like it." *** "Yeah. You're cute."
He tilted his head curiously and gave her a grin. "It's wonderful." *** "Cute."
He didn't reply, keeping still. *** "What you just did."
"I didn't really read the whole thing. I have no idea how you feel." *** She grinned. "What was that?"
"What a strange confession," he teased. *** She put an arm around his waist. "I know."
