Aspen slept as well, her breaths swallowing.

She flushed, leaning into his touch. "I love you so much."
She nodded, closing her eyes again.
He chuckled. "Sorry."
She relaxed, feeling her heart melt under his gaze. "Rowan, you're so pretty.."
She gave him a small smile. "I don't mind."
"I'm quiet."
Her fingers played with his hair as she pulled away for a moment to observe him.
She tilted her head, scooting to lie down uncertainly. "You're fine.."
"I was just passing through."
She gave him a kiss, her touch gentle.
She relaxed, closing her eyes as well.
