She winced immediately. "J-Jack.."
He turned to her. "I love you too."
He grinned, kissing her cheek. "Sleep, my love."
She had gone to her knees, holding herself with wide eyes as her world went a bit dizzy. "What?"
He chuckled, stirring.
His eyes brightened and he gave her a wide grin. "You do?"
She managed to dodge the first slash, but the sword slipped from her hand the second, and he got her.
"Vegetarian chili," he said brightly.
"Wise beyond her years. Diana is the goddess of wisdom."
She managed to step back, her eyes wide.
He grinned at her. "Hey."
He was quiet for a moment. "Then how about Diana?"
She quickly stepped out of the way, her eyebrows raising threateningly before she looked up at him, raising her sword and striking back.
"Did you just say Sr.?"
"In the kitchen," he replied.
She turned, her sword drawn.
"Har har."
"Come in!"
She sighed in relief, going to make her way to find them.
"What should it be, do you think?"
