His brows furrowed for a moment, and he shifted before relaxing.
"He listens better," she teased, turning slightly to look at him out of the corner of her eye.
She laughed, picking out a new bag of dog food that wasn't spilling. "Let's go."
He wasn't disturbed, still sleeping soundly.
She rolled her eyes. "I guess you like him more than me."
"Wonderful. Are we ready, then?"

"And we would move for me too," she replied stubbornly. "He's trained."
She chuckled. "Let's just get the rest of the things we need and go. I also picked out a toy for him."
He kissed her cheek, before resting his head, not bothering to lay her down. He shut his eyes and slowly nodded off.
"That doesn't mean a thing. Even if I was steering it would move the same."
She nodded. "If that's the case, then that's fine.:
"I know it better."
He smiled softly. "I love you too. I'll go back to sleep now, okay?"
"I know, but we don't want to get into trouble." She kicked some of the kibbles under the display. "Y'know?"
"Shh," he said quietly, sitting on the couch with her in his arms, keeping her close. "I am. And so are you."
She raised her eyebrows. "It looks like you created this mess. We'd better pick it up."
"That is true, you are a genius.'
