He chuckled. "Eh."
"I know.. But still." *** "You'll see!"
"We'll be safer.. Right? It won't be as dangerous.."

He sighed. "Thank you for being with me." *** She grinned. "Maybe so."
"I-I thought you didn't like me anymore.."
"Yeah. Go ahead and try."
He smiled softly. "I'm in love with you." *** "You're losing!"
She took a breath, her eyes still hurt. "It really sounded like it."
He laughed. "Nooo!"
He continued to hum, his hand rubbing her back. *** She grinned. "Good."
She ran her hands through her hair, pacing. "Leave me. You're going to leave the ship and I would never see you again."
He beamed. "You don't!"
He nodded, and resumed humming, his voice soft. *** She gasped, jumping back quickly.
"So you're just going to leave me?" Her voice sounded choked. "After one of my slip-ups.. You're just gone for good?" She took a shaky breath....
