Avice did the same, carefully watching her work. Charlotte pursed her lips as she chopped vegetables. "Just a stew."
He raised his hands. "I'll get you later."

Charlotte opened a cabinet, taking put the potatoes and a peeler. " Okay, that's perfect!"
He grinned. "I would."
He nodded. "I see. What do you think we'll find?"
Charlotte pursed her lips. "For now I could have you peel the potatoes, if you'd like."
"Not hurt necessarily. Just tickle you until you give in."
He laughed, his head shaking. "Okay, fine."
She sighed. "I'll help." Charlotte grinned. "Oh good!"
He stood up again. "I'll get you back for this."
"Nuh uh. Not always."
She cocked her head. "If you'd like. I'm fine on my own, though."
He went to his knees, breathing heavily. "Gah.. I won't this time."
"I've never heard a bigger lie," he teased. "You can be scary."
