    I'm from '83.... gee, feels old and outta place and lived fully the 90's...

    Had Mega Drive (Your genesis) at launch time, Remember fully the 92 celebrations, Olympic games on my city, the 500th centenary of Columbus, Universal exposition in Seville (where ISDN networking was showcased for first time, whooping 64 kbps) In Barcelona, for the games, Pan-European portable phone (GSM) where used on trial run... in 93 both a summer games and a small exposition where made to keep the 92 alive (wasn't 94 ones) in 95 Microsoft Marketed Windows 95 to the absurd... I remember from the news, people who bought it lacking a computer just to "live the hype" even I remember a town birdshop exposing with pride a Windows 95 box for sale...

    in 96, I remeber the AD's on TV for Pentium II CPU's, where firefighter looking guys lapdanced... The first time I seen a TFT screen (LG) The Internet began widespread grown in Spain, in form of Teleline, an ISP that laked DNS, so you had phoneguide like books full of I.P. adresseses still remember the old I.P. of Sega, 138.043.015.250... or like that, anyways you had to browse at whooping 56K, people ignored what that meant, but was good to have.

    Oh yeah, 96 seen the launch of Spice Girls, still keep some merch including the Polaroid Camera, A Renault car got a version that bundled a Mac powerbook 100 (a computer as usable as a mint flavored suppository) Titanic Fad, Men in black, Titanic Fad, Power Rangers Movie, Titanic fad, Jim Carrey, Titanic fad...

    That was when George Lucas decided to butcher Star Wars, on a mall cinema thy even had a replica X-wing for kiddies to ride on, inside was a PC with a Xwing game with difficulty cranked to 11 to ensure kids died fast and smooth...

    I was born in '94, just long enough to barely remember the 90's and, thanks to my parents, the panic just before new year in 2000. I do remember the old shows, like Hey Arnold, Catdog, Doug, PB and J Otters, and I'm sure more. I was more of an outdoorsy child anyway, so the 90's sort of meshed into the 2000's anyway. All I can say is I'm not a real big fan of this decade, which is probably why the past looks pretty good. >>;

    Don't worry about it. People almost always reminisce on the good ol' days, no matter when they were born. We have a tendency to view the past through rose-tinted glasses.
