A new villian?

Well, they've already made one blatant reference to Star Wars, why not another?

 

He does admittedly look quite a bit more awesome there

 

I wonder if we're going to get any information about him like we did with Discord last year?

 

Hrrrm... I've seen that pic around. Hopefully he won't turn out to be generic- He kinda looks it, in my opinion.

I still ardently refuse to believe that Celestia and Luna don't have a brother, Hasbro! Make Tremalion, the King of Storms canon!

Anyways, I just hope he's as awesome as let's say Discord.

I would love to see that, this is essentially the backstory for the main villain in my roleplaying campaign. That would mean one of my creations is technically canon.

Traits of this villain of mine the Nightmare king.
Former king of Equestria
One of the four apocalype ponies (death)
A master of dark magic and necromancy
Leads a massive undead army
Is a servant of the Lovecraftian god Azathoth, the destroyer of worlds.
Has a severe hatred of all living beings because of an insanity inflicted by his dark master.
Is extremly arrogant and prideful.
Has a god complex
Has a desire to destroy Equestria and turn everypony into his undead minions as he rules his kingdom of the dead for all eternity.

Hasbro, make it happen, I know this character is maybe too dark for a kids show, but toned down this might work.

This is who I would want this character to be. Not likely though.

 

If this happened he would beat out my favorite villain Queen Chrysalis, he may even have what it takes to beat out Discord.

 

The same voice from any Dreadlord of Warcraft III would fit I believe
