Hi guys, I've was on my Soundcloud account the other day, and I noticed I got a message from someone called "user11705690" He sent me a message saying this: "Hey dude, I'm not sure if you check these inbox messages, if you do - I want to start with saying you've some awesome uploads dude! Anyways i saw you do not have a website (In 2013 dude...really?), i was quite surprised tbh as you obviously take your music seriously. I wanted to let you know that my boss (i'm a website designer) has recently started a new project and is doing free web design for dj's / producers to help bring new talent into the spotlight. They are Pretty decent for free! Take a look if it sounds useful - Our website is DJ Hire.org If you could say i sent you (KT) id appriciate it And keep the tunes coming! Peace." He hasn't replied to me since, and today I got another message from a different (Different?) Guy called "user984378638" "Hi, ive been enjoying your uploads whilst at the office lately, I love them! And that is why I am messaging you Ive just started a new job and my employer has just brought out a brand new website which provides totally free website development for aspiring artists. After I heard about it i immediatly thought about you. For nothing they're very good! If its something that sounds helpful have a look here Also id get loads of rep from my manager if you could point out i sent you (Kat) Also, are there any further uploads lined up soon? Peace" I'm pretty sure these weren't automatically generated. But I'm sure that they were sent by the same guy, because the links take me to the same place. Djhire.org I tried looking this site up and I can't find anything off about them, it all seems legit, I'm just taking precautions, because I'm not sure if this is genuinely someone who thinks I'm good. (Which I doubt it) Or if it is someone trying to get personal details out of me. Or trying to get me to join some sort of scam, or just some guy trying to kick his job off to a good start. You can't be too careful these days. What doesn't add up for me is his username, and the fact that he picked me (I have 3 piano recordings on my account) Only 3. There are tons of other much more talented people out there. Back to the original question. Anyone else getting anything like this on their Soundcloud account?
Sounds like spam. I've gotten stuff like that on my dA account, even though now one in their right mind would pay me for my work. (not saying your stuff isn't good, but it sounds like the same situation.) I'm not sure what the end game of it all is, I'm assuming it somehow makes them money, but I've never looked any deeper into it.

Yes that is spam and automated. It is not from the same guy, they're bot accounts and about 25,000 other people probably got that exact same message.
