My obsession with Fire Emblem knew no bounds. And AVGN. And (non-Pornographic) furry art. ...And drinking. And Mass Effect. And Drinking in Mass Effect. And reading. And Portal. And SCIENCE. And COMBUSTIBLE LEMONS. AND... I think you get the idea. But I seriously was obsessed with all that. And seriously, WoW got me playing it for 25+ hours a week. I quit playing it like 3 years ago, but still. Now it's GW2 and Mass Effect 3 that I'm waiting for.
Why are we so damned similar! I am such a big AVGN fan, that his documentary Cinemassacre 200, inspired me to study film making and set me on that career path. If you don't know what cinemassacre 200 is you are not a true AVGN fan! He will always be my no. 1 internet celebrity that I will always follow. If a MLP and AVGN episode were released at the same time. I would probably watch AVGN first.
Ah, the years BP . . . Seems so long ago . . . Well, watched lots of anime, read comic books more, read more in general, followed a bunch of web comics - now I just follow about five or six. Wrote about other things than ponies, like Star Wars, Doctor Who, superheroes, and my own stories - which I really should get back to. Sigh. My fans miss me, I'm sure! . . . OK, two people are still "fans"! Oh, and I felt a lot more miserable and unhappy. I'm still astounded just how happy I get just looking at a picture of a pony - any pony!
Used to play a lot of video games (especially League of Legends and Heroes Of Newerth) but haven't touched that many games since I started watching pony, because I'm way too busy with watching MLP, reading fanfics and making pony music to even play them.

Video Games and anime.... mostly vidya gamez... but still today i manage a time for games, and for ponies equally
Lets just say I was into Anime and all the hype people thought it was years ago. Then it kinda died down for me and I didn't like it/fanbase of it, so I just went back to gaming. Still do gaming with my clan and such on PC. Then boom one of my IRL Friends talked about MLP:FiM months before I got hooked on it. Then I guess that brought me here. :derpe: Ponies for life.
Obsessed........... well I can said that whit the Videogames XD, but than other game: Kingdom Hearts (Like I said in other post XD) and ZELDA games of course "Ocarina of time" like me to much like Kingdom Hearts that I played again and again and again.......I ended the games like 15 times XD, but also.........the anime is my other Like: NarutoShippuden, Bleach, One Pice, Full Metal Alchemyst and of course Dragon Ball Z and GT =), there are awesomes..........but now, like others said, I spend almost all my time in Pony Stuff XD
Pretty much anything Disney. I've been to Walt Disney World three times in the past 18 months, and I have mini seizures when it comes to Disney trading pins. Also completely obsessed with anything Japanese. Otaku FTW!
Well, there's one obsession that I've had before, during, and will have after MLP:FiM, and that's the weather! I ♥ ϟ (If you can see that, that means "I love lightning.") Other than that, I'd say my previous obsession was probably anime. I used to be an avid anime fan. Not to the point where I'd cosplay and attend conventions or anything, but I used to watch a lot of it. Here are most of the ones that I've watched: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Bleach, Trigun, FLCL, One Piece, Ronin Warriors, Sailor Moon (Yes, I used to watch it. Shut up! Real manly men watched it, lol), InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop, Big O, Outlaw Star, Ouran High School Host Club, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Rurouni Kenshin, and Eureka Seven. Yeah, kinda extensive. The most extensive I got into the fandom was watching all these, and for a period of time I got interested in reading some things about Japanese culture. I also learned about the word "Otaku," which I understand can have a negative meaning there, but for anime fans it means an obsessive anime fan, or something like that. The most I got into it was buying some anime shirts: Especially for Fullmetal Alchemist, because, other than DBZGT, that was my favorite anime of all time because of the analog of alchemy to physics. I also bought a shirt that said "Otaku" on it, and wore it with pride back then. Actually, this brings me to an interesting thought. Come to think of it, nobody said anything to me about wearing those shirts, yet I know there were, and still are, anime fan haters out there. Then why am I so concerned about an MLP shirt? Hmmm... I'm going to make a post in the "Closeted Bronies" topic after this. Anyway, I'm not into anime that much anymore these days. I just lost interest over time. I still will watch some of the shows I mentioned if they happen to be on. The only one I've been keeping track of these days is Dragon Ball Z Kai. The only reason I watch that is to see what changes they've made to it since they last dubbed DBZ. I, personally, liked what they did with my favorite character's voice (Frieza), but I don't like how they cut out part of the fight (not to mention the censorship to bring it down to a TV-Y7 rating). I think his battle was the most epic and should've stayed as long as it was, but that's just me.
