Hey, I'd like to ask y'all how do people react to bronies in your country/city/province, Do people actually know what's a brony? As for myself, i feel like im the only one here, most people not even knowing what MLP is, and it feels like im trapped in some sick, blank pony-less room with a tiny door, which is the internet.
I don't live in a very understanding place. Not necessarily a discriminatory place, just not very understanding. Luckily, my best friend is a brony, so at least I've got one person to talk to about ponies in real life.
Most people see my shirts and don't care. The people I talk to generally don't like it. I only know of 6 Maryland bronies.
dun' give up non' Cause I be discoverin' bronies in my area and it's amazin' 104 is my local group count n' it keeps growin'.
Hmm, the only one in my village to know anything about the show would be me... And in the nearby "city/town", as far as I know, me as well. The most I encountered was someone who read an article on it and thought it was a joke... Well, enough people know now, not that I'm treated much different... I wouldn't say the people where I live, for the most part, would understand such a fandom... or almost anything of the sort in my opinion XD More like, from the start I never really hid my fandoms, being a huge Pokefan, gaming/anime fan, blah blah blah... and a loner as well. So, eeyup. Trying to convert someponies though.
Based on how big the meetup at DragonCon was, I'd say the audience here is fairly large. Still, it depends on the person. Not everyone likes it, or even tolerates it.
I know Bronies live in my country but they are scares as in shatter around the country. I do not know any bronie that live near me in Michigan in the Detroit Metro parts of Michigan but my 3 friends and I.
I wear my Derpy T-Shirt in Moscow - no one gives a *squee!*. I have MLP opening as my ringtone - no one gives a *squee!*. So I assume people here don't give a *squee!* about bronies. Finally MLP wasn't aired here, so it's known only to bronies who are no more than 0.0...1% of Moscow population and there is almost no chance of accidental meeting.
They'll probably release it eventually. I had to look it up, since I wasn't sure about Russia. Imo, if they've already released it in Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian, why not in Russian?
well, the Hub isn't here in the Philippines, i just found it in Youtube, then Me + MLP episodes = instant Brony sad thing is, i've tested all of my classmates and they don't know what a Brony is, after that i told them about the show comment: isn't that for little girls? me: ಠ_ಠ what a sad thing....
Yeah The Hub isn't in the Philippines, hopefully they will air it in their channels but they better keep it the way it is. No dubs or anything. Thankfully here in the U.S I have Hub and can watch MLP:FiM all I want. :derpe: I wish my cousins and filipino soon-to-be bronies were shown FiM.
I was wondering if there were any here in old conservative Virginia. Yeah I am a pony but I get along better with bronies.
http://www.bronies.com <- Use Map. Then it will eventually link you to... http://www.rainbowdash.net <- Have to make an account and join a group of your area.
Bronies in Toronto? Many. So many. At least in mai school. Also, all of the tolerance. Also, @Moscow, 2x2 has a petition on their site to air MLP. Check it out
