Techy just stared at the two of them silently before starting to fiddle with her device, glancing up occasionally.
"I don't know dude but it better start soon it's starting to get hungry and I don't feel like killing whoevers inside this room... so yeah um... anypony got any vodka also just uh ignore everything I just said apart from the vodka thing um yeah" darkshine said uncertain of how the others would react to his powers as the two serpents that indicated his powers burst from his back "YOU FOOL WE COULD EASILY TAKE THEM" the left darkness proclaimed "YES KILL THEM AND FILL OUR HUNGER FOR THEIR HEARTS" the right darkness agreed "I don't know they might prove valuable allies" darkshine murmured
Lifepool casually tapped his hoof on the marble ground. Waiting for the princesses to turn up. "um I don't have any Vodka but I do have some highly caffeinated Maple syrup. I've already had 4 litres of it today and it's not even 5pm". Spotting the two things that came out of the stranger he pulled out the two katana's but in the rush he just yanked them off his back with the sheaths still on".
"syrup yuk no thanks also you might want take your sheaths off if you want to fight me not that it will matter" darkshine said while walking over to lifepool "you look familiar have I seen you before"
"maybe, I am a mercenary. You may know me by my nickname the merc with the mouth". He then removed the bottom of his mask taking a large gulp of syrup.
"ah yes I remember now you are very popular back home in germaney we even have a museum about you" darkshine with uncharacteristically joy "tell me if you are a hero, hell if we are all heroes here then why the hell are we meeting in a castle and not on some flying super ship of sorts?"
Life pool paused for a minute. "I have no idea. Also technically whatever anyone says I did NOT start that hospital fire in Germaney. Sure I may of spilled a few medical chemical vats over and sure it started fizzing but I swear that fire was not me. Also I think that museum has my old red and black suit. Now I just have a black and red one, they're totally different".
"okay then... Christ when is this damn meeting going to start I have an outfit waiting to be picked up... HEY PRINCESSES LETS GET THIS THING STARTED ALREADY. yeah im probably just going to go to sleep wake me when the meeting stats kay mate"
Techy just sat there, watching the odd back and forth, accidentaly hitting a button on her backpack forcing the wings out when darkshine started yelling, knocking her backwards. "oww..." She put her pack back on and stood up, shaking her head quickly. "I can't possibly be the only sane and or completely good one here, can I?"
"hey I take offence to that im perfectly sane" darkshine spoke in a sortof angry tone before turning to techy "oh hey... you got vodka or a heart?"
"Hey, I'm good, just mentally unstable. Why would a villain have a museum all about them". He felt quite smug after finding that out.
"R... Right... Um, I may have some beer... No vodka." Techy backed away from the request about her heart. "And you won't get my heart without some expensive wine." She gave a faltering laugh and glanced to the door.
"okay then i'll take the beer just gonna have to leave your heart till later" darkshine spoke with a wink "but back to the topic when are we gonna get out there and crush some skulls"
Celestia then walked in the room "Hello, my little ponies, you have been called here for one purpose and one purpose alone." "Some of you are vigilantes." She looked at Stan. "Some of you are criminals." She looked at Narrowleaf. "And some of you are complete nutjobs." She looked at Lifepool "But after today, you will all come out heroes. You're mission is simple, rescue my sister. But doing it will be nearly impossible."
"Already sounds fun. Who would capture a princess?" Techy pulled a bottle out of her pack and slid it to Darkshine.
"Hey stupid lady!! What's in it for us?!" Ragnarok asked. "Shh. Be quiet, Ragnarok. That's the princess." Narrowleaf mumbled.
"We get to be heroes, that's enough for me..." Techy stares into space with a smile and sparkling eyes. "Though I wouldn't mind a grant to fund my research..."
