I'm going to Illinois State University. I don't really have any friends there, and this is my first year, so I'm a little nervous. I leave in half a month.

Cheadle Sixth Form College in Stoke-On-Trent. It's not as big as the proper Stoke College and I think that's a good thing from a learning perspective, and also a bonding perspective between students and then the teachers too.

Santa Fe College in Florida for me. Couldn't quite make it into the university, but it's the next best program. Planning to transfer after I get my degree anyway. Majoring in chemistry. B3

I graduated from college with an Associate's degree a year ago.

Just be sure that 1. you are sure you know what you want to major in, 2. that you pick a useful major that you can actually get a job with (some schools offer classes in Mario Kart racing and stuff like that. Yeah it's cool, but you gotta PAY for it, and a degree in Mario Kart is not going to get you a job. It's an extreme example, but you get the point) and finally 3. be sure you want to go to college in the first place. Don't let teachers or parents affect your decision of where to go or if to go to college at all. In this economy college does not guarantee you a job and for the most part doesn't even give you an advantage. There was a Mallard Filmore comic that said "congratulations graduates, half of you will leave high school and go on to work at McDonalds. The other half will go to college, rack up a huge amount of debt, graduate, and THEN go to work at McDonalds." As funny as it seems, it really isn't a joke nowadays. It's pretty close to the truth. So if you aren't sure if you want to go to college or what to go for, better off staying at your minimum wage job until you decide what to do. It's better than working at the same minimum wage job with $100,000 dollars of student loan debt to pay off. Not to mention that you can get a good paying job without college.

Anyway, just figured I'd throw that out there.

I've already graduated with an A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology from the University of Montana-College of Technology. Seems there's a lack of jobs open locally though, which is what I can best afford for now. So I've been doing online courses for Healthcare Informatics through Montana Tech (only school in the nation that has this program, allegedly). So I'll be doing some online courses for fall.

I'm not going to college. Though it's a risky choice, I can't exactly get a degree in "horses". I could get something related to animal husbandry, but I need very specific equine training then what anything can really offer me. I have a choice to go up north to an equestrian college but... despite it's awesomeness, it's christian based and though I have my beliefs... >.<; I just - no. But that's a story not for here :D So I'm currently working part time while training in horse jumping (hunters, jumpers, hunter/jumpers) with some minor dressage work thrown in. So... yeah :D
