They also managed to strike a deal with the crystal empire; soon the crystal empires army will be fully stocked with relic industries Food rations, entrenching tools and magic infused kevlar body armor. Celestial new this year would be good and she planned to make the next 363 days worth it. (so, it's the start of a new business year and last years reports have been finalized. Jack was resting almost asleep at her desk at the back of her factory with a sidearm to her left and a computer to her right & a guard on both her sides, holding high grade full-auto rifles & flak armor. (I'm not gonna post much today)
Snow blinked from eye strain at the huge stack of reports she had been working on, "Gah...Sometimes I wish I had a board I could rely on to help run this company..." she muttered to herself. She pulled yet another paper from the top of the stack and looked at it, blinking, "Mark Corporations....Named Most Profitable Company....6th year running..." she muttered as she read it. "Well, I would hope so." Snow said turning in her chair and looking at her messy, messy study, which was covered in old prototypes of old projects she had since competed, notes upon notes, and current projects of her's, "Communications...power providing...Electrical conveniences..." she thought to her kitchen were she had spent many a night tasting a perfecting dishes for different styles of Mark Co restaurants, "Food services...Mining and drilling...And finally..." Snow looked to a random bookshelf in her study, "Arms." She slightly laughed and shook her head, "If that kinda variety and domination in those industries doesn't make profit, and don't know what will." Snow yawned and looked to the clock, "Hm...I last sleep 30 hours ago..." She noted, then looked back to the pile of papers, "Only 5 more reports left...Then the 'Inventor of the Future' needs sleep!" she said to herself with a chuckle before scooting back up to the table and back to work
After the meeting Celestial went straight to the army supplies division. Alongside two other members of the board. Once arriving Steel bolts approached her; "Any news on weapon shipments and sales yet. If we want to beat whoever it is and get our guns in the hands of the military we need to get those shipments out asap." steel looked at celestial with a stern look. "We cant do that, the contract hasn't been accepted yet, we are still in competition with another company. Though look on the bright side, we're still the military's main Armour supplier and our contracts with the Manehatten and Trottingham police have gone through. The JSTC 12 Stun pistol will be in their hooves by Saturday." The last bit of info cheered her up a bit but Celestial was still a bit annoyed by the mysterious company who always beat Relic Industries at the last hurdle.
Snow pushed the next to final paper aside and got to the one she had been dreading, the new arms contract competition for supplying Equestria and her allies with new weaponry. Snow sighed, grabbing the paper and walked over to the bookshelf she had looked at earlier, pulling several books out of place in a long combination that ended with the bookshelf sliding down and revealing a long set of stairs. After Snow stepped over it, the bookshelf slid back up and she descended down the stairwell to a small room with three heavy vault doors leading to three different rooms. Going to the one on the right, Snow entered its own incredibly complex combination and pulled it open with her magic, which only her own magic could do. Stepping in and hitting the lights, rows upon rows of the most advanced weaponry in Equestria was revealed, "Essence weaponry, my best, and worst, creation..." She muttered, looking down to the silver band on her hoof, "But not today." She continued down past the essence weapons and to her newest line of weapons, the AER-1, "That should do." she muttered, grabbing one of the five she had and placing it in a bag that was below the weapon racks. She then made her way out, shutting everything up and walking out of her house, destination: Canterlot
“You know what; Pass me the R3X Rifle prototype. They can’t just judge it off a piece of paper.” Steel nodded guiding her to a laid out table the rifle smack bang in the middle. Surrounding it was the crystal channeler’s used to improve accuracy and boost penetration; and the rifles magazines. Celestial slotted the channelers into the stock and the magazine into the gun. Then finally she placed the weapon in a padded case along with two extra magazines. “I’ll be heading off. I have a feeling ill meet the competition soon enough.”
Snow stepped onto the Canterlot train platform, luckily there was no throngs of press waiting for her like usual, so she was for once able to head quickly to the streets, where she quickly headed for the presentation area, the disassembled AER-1 safely and stealthily disassembled in her saddlebags as she made her way to the presentation area in the Guard Headquarters. Upon reaching the building, Snow rang the buzzer, and an authoritative voice ordered her to wait for the other presenter after demanding her business there. So, Snow sat outside the doors, waiting for the other pony to arrive.
Celestial arrived seconds later. The case held beside her. She then pressed the button and stated her name and business., then the door opened and they sat down. "Snow Mark, the mare herself. Names Celestial Relic; great granddaughter to Silver Relic. Famous archaeologist and business man. Im also the head of Relic industries. Number one in both survival equipment and general army supplies". She put her case down before extending a hoof.
Jack checked the time and sighed, getting up, grabbing her .45mm pistol, & a couple more guards, then headed out to find to find the train station, quietly saying,"been some time since I've been to Canterlot...", then she orders tickets to Canterlot hops on the train & takes off
Harmony was busy coming up with a brand new invention for the Equestrian military. The military seemed to be best friends with Harmony, not to mention her best customers. She was busy at her desk working on the finishing touches of various models of armour and weapons. She had taken pride in her newest sidearm for the military, which was considered to be years or potentially decades ahead of its time. She had a small laser pistol and another sidearm covered by a small brown cloth to preserve. If both of these sidearm’s were to be accepted, then they would replace the previous model. She was going to receive a visit from the military within the next couple days, so she had time to finish her sidearms and other necessary materials to finish. She grabbed her laser pistol and began to study it. The weapon she held was the EEP7 laser pistol, a new pistol that would replace the outdated EEP5 model. With a generous battery size, tight shot grouping at range, resilience to extended use, and fairly decent damage when in comparison to other energy weapons, she believe that it was to be used extensively. As the possible successor to the EEP5, it boasted a redesigned focusing crystal pattern, an improved photonic focusing chamber, and selectable laser focus, wavelength, pulse energy and repetition rate. In addition, it was lighter and less bulky than its predecessor and is perceived as a step toward replacing the J58 10mm pistol with a laser weapon as the standard issue sidearm for military forces. Her other sidearm was not ready to be seen by any pony other than her development team and herself. All that was known was that it was neither Plasma nor Laser and would completely change the way energy weapons are used. It might even be a step above the AER weapons made by Mark Co. She turned then placed the weapon back down on her desk and went back to work.
(Oy, Crim, the AER is not a known weapon, it's newly developed, and not a whole lot of people really even knows Mark Co even MAKES weapons.)
After some time Jackie finds herself at Canterlot, making it to her destination within shortly after, seeing that the house she was going to was empty, so she ended up leaving to a restaurant, looking sadly at her table, eating a sanwich along with some fruits & veggies

They knew that she was a genius and were ready to work for her without question. Her newest idea would skyrocket profits and the technological gap by at least twenty years. Completely cut off from the rest of the world, Harmony and her team began to work in total secrecy about her newest product. The doors were locked shut in steel and required a minimum of two passwords to enter the secret part of the industry. She was about to change modern warfare forever...
Snow smiled her trademark smile and shook Celestial's hoof, "Nice to meet you, Celestial!" She said in her well-practiced, happy, upbeat voice, "I guess today you'll get to see why Mark Co can give its employees such great bonuses and charge next to nothing for our electrical services!" She said with a wink, patting her saddlebags, "Just some new 'future' tech developed by your's truly!"
"Good, good. Im here for the main arms contract for the army. The thing in this case will maximize bullet accuracy and penetration. It hits hard and is pretty easy to maintain. Though honestly I'm not worried. We already provide the army with ration packs, Armour and survival gear. So if one thing falls we've always got back ups". She smiled as the pink haired receptionist put down the phone as she told Celestial they were ready for her. She got up opening the door and steeping inside. and unpacking the rifle. although unaware to everyone the was a gap in the window where people could see inside. Inside the room: "Good afternoon, my names Celestial Relic and Ill be showcasing our newest creation the R3X Rifle.The R3X runs on your basic Semi-Automatic sniper rifle system with an effective range of 750 meters and a rate of fire of 75 RPM. What makes this rifle unique is the patented crystal channelers; these amplify the guns accuracy and penetration capabilities by 95% via the absorption and channeling of the snipers magic. The crystal purifies this magic sending it through the guns mechanisms and bullet. The barrel is 22.5 inches long with an overall length of 45 inches. Finally the weight of a fully loaded R3X is 6.8 kilograms. Thank you for your time." Celestial waited as the 2 representatives looked it over. A look of intrigue on both faces, fascinated at the idea of the crystal channeler. they wrote some stuff down before looking up at her and speaking. "Your presentation was Short yet got every important thing down. We'll get back to you with your success in a week." Celestial packed up and walked out shaking hooves before doing so. Then the pink maned secretary gestured to snow.
Snow walked in with a brilliant smile, "Hello fine gentlecolts, I'm here to present the latest, greatest development from the Mark Arms Division!" She quickly noticed the representatives confusion at the lack of a gun case, to which she merely waved her hoof at, "Don't worry, what I'm about to present disassembles and reassembles so well, there's no need for a case!" She took off her saddlebag and pulled out several components of something, which within moments was a fully assembled AER-1, "Meet the AER-1, the first megapulse weapon ever developed! It fires up to 15,000 megapulse bolts, can fire at semi-auto, 3-bolt burst, and full auto at 300 bolts a minute. What of reloading you may ask, but reloading is a non-issue! With our patented formula for ammunition, the AER can fire up to 1,000 bolts before reloading! And the best part!" Snow turned a knob on the weapon and it emitted a slight whine as it charged up, "You can set to stun, allowing the AER to be the perfect weapon for capture or hostage situations!" And with that, Snow turned the weapon on herself, "As I'm about to demonstrate, setting the weapon for a preset 3 second knockout!" And before anypony could stop her, she pulled the trigger. There was a blue flash from the weapon as its blue bolt of energy shot out and slammed into Snow's head. Snow's body hit the floor with a thud as the AER with a clang. For a few seconds, those watching could have sworn they had just seen Snow commit suicide, but nope, as promised, she soon was rolling to her hooves, albeit a bit stiff, "See!" She said, "And as you could see, the AER is completely silent, and the bolt moves so fast, it would be impossible to trace to the firing position." Snow took a moment to study the representatives, who were still taken aback by her live self-demonstration of the AER's stun capabilities, "The AER is incredibly easy to maintain, use, and fire. It weighs a mere 3 kilograms when fully loaded. It has outperformed current assault rifles in use in every way, even armor penetration, as it simply amplifies it. And megapulses aren't stopped by rubber like electricity, they just pass clean through." Snow looked down to it, "I believe that's all, thank you for your time." And with that, Snow disassembled the AER, put it into her saddlebag, and left before any response could be had. She walked over to Celestial with a small smirk, "I think I left them speechless." She said to Celestial with a smile
"Looks like we have no competition. Seeing as mines a sniper rifle and yours look like a amalgamation of a stun gun and assault rifle. Anyway it was nice meeting you and perhaps one day we can combine forces using our crystal channelers with your megapulse." she smiled as she walked alongside snow before turning towards the business district in Canterlot.
Snow shuddered at the thought, she honestly hated weapons of any sort. They went completely against her philosophy of making the world more peaceful and simply better than how she found it, but these contracts helped fund those projects, and give her employees great benefits, among other things, "Yea...Maybe..." Snow muttered to herself before heading out of the building, quickly getting out of sight of it, "Why does it seem like for every peaceful invention I make, somepony finds a way to weaponize it..." She muttered, thinking of how her releasing electricity to the public kicked off a great advancement in not only civilian tech, but military especially. Snow looked up just in time to see the bright flash of camera flash in her face, instantly disorienting her. As she shook the stars out of her eyes, she looked up to see a hoard of reporters and cameraponies crowding in front of her. With a small, unnoticeable sigh, she put on her press face and began pushing her way through the crowd, occasionally answering the reporters' questions and doing her best to keep them at bay as she tried to get to the Canterlot train station
Being one of the top 4 richest CEO's Celestial faced a lot of reporters. Although luckily she made it to the reception of relic industries before they could get any non blurry images. As she got back she turned straight to the elevator handin the case to a employee as she walked straight to the office. "Crystal channelers, they could be so much more yet all the suppliers give us are weaponised chunks". She sighed, how long did she have to keep with her fathers plan for the company. Equestria was changing, protection of peace is what she wanted not imperialist expansion like her father and grand father.
