Each of Everything

There is a stallion that keeps a menagerie.

Way out into the seas in Stirrup Bay, a lonely island with a single peak and a single residence, that being of an eccentric. It's walls are ancient and tall; a castle that presides over the island like a knight standing over it's downed enemy. It's foothold in the mountain here, presiding over the long dead harbour is the only sign of life upon the chalk cliffs.

His company continues to this day to produce the largest brand for sugar and flour for Equestria, keeping bakeries open seemingly indefinitely. The Brandy name is synonymous with quality and excellent service throughout the land. Bakers tend to owe their companies to them.

The biggest shareholder, the owner, Stout Brandy the Seventh stays in his hideaway upon the chalk rock with nothing but gulls and his only heir able to reach him.

Within the menagerie itself, these two ponies meet.

Strong Brandy strides through the cages, looking up and around at the creatures kept within. This is only a tiny section of the houses that kept these beasts which have spread all over the island. As he passes; the Ursa Major sleeping in a corner, a blindfolded cockatrice clucking around for anything left to eat, the tank encrusted with multicoloured encrustations. Amongst them, two eyes press against the glass from within the murky water. The old pony stands, bewitched by the eyes floating in the greeny brine.

"Father, you ought to clean the seapony's tank out at some point." Strong remarks, his voice is regal but accusative like he's telling off a child.

"Ah!" Stout knowingly retorts, "Not so, m'lad. She loves the water like that. I have it pumped in especially. Lots of food."

"I see. I didn't know." Strong says, taking his eyes off the tank. "Father, I believe I have found the crown jewels you have been looking for."

The old pony's eyes light up, meeting Strong's proud smile: "Oh! You don't mean...?!"

"Yes Father. Plenty of them on the mainland. Such unusual and amazing ponies of-"

"Wait..." Stout commands, holding a hoof up and wearing his deep concern. "What do you mean ponies? I want to build my zoo with animals. What would I do with these ponies?"

"Father, I knew you'd say that but I have heard stories of very unique individuals that use their interesting, neigh, fascinating gifts for their own ill gain!" Strong was getting his hoof into the theatrics, raising it high. "While they are unique specimens of amazing talent, they appear to be in the procession of thieves and con artists. The law of the land hasn't been able to keep these miscreants at bay."

"Then perhaps life as a sideshow would be what's best for them! At least they can give back to the society they've plundered for so long! Strong, bring me these specimens!" Stout growls, determination fuelling his words while Strong nods sharply.

"At once, Father! Prepare some cages for when I return!" Strong states, turning away.

His mouth slits into a wide, mad grin now that his Father is out of sight. Soon, anypony that could stand in the way, will be removed.


And of these new additions to this collection? Why, that would be you.



Simply put, you play as an unusual individual. Perhaps you command a power of a bizarre nature. Perhaps your of a very, very odd physical deformity. Perhaps your simply not of this world entirely.

Or perhaps not, as it seems that Master Strong Brandy isn't messing around in rounding up anypony that will likely spoil any plans he currently has, whatever they maybe. Anypony is at risk of being added to the Brandy Collection.
