It's not much different than the current Equestria. I just add some locations to the map, and the Order of the Golden Lightning, (kinda like the Illuminati,) is working in the background. Anyway... since ponies stopped responding to my posts in Game Night I guess I gotta do another adventure. I'm sure somepony will reach a mana crystal eventually. So, there's Adventures of the Order, but that's back in progress I think, and then there's Game Night so far, which is an inside/outside thing. A new idea I had basically involves a group of ponies who are sent to investigate "strange dangerous occurrances" up in the Crystal Kingdom. Thoughts? Of course, I would GM this, and it would follow the guidelines of the Rules of Eight Star.
Darkshine, you flatter me. :derpe: Can't say I mind it. Anyway, I guess for the idea I have the team would have to consist of at least 2 guards, 1 sleuth, and 1 magic-talented unicorn. At least.
I got stuck in Game Night. I liked the campaign, but the overall story was...dare I say, "Too meta" for me. A standalone campaign along those lines would be cool, though.
What kind of "strange dangerous occurrences" do you mean? We talking a swarm of ponies in one area or sudden influctions of power involving the previously mentioned swarm of ponies spontaneously combusting on the road?
So the character play in a character was a bit much for you, Quill? :derpe: Oh, sorry, occurrances like... sudden glaciers thrusting out of the ground... moving beasts made of ice smashing in and destroying camps set up by mountaineers...
I kinda like the meta thing but there needs to be more done with it. Eight Star's clearly doing something outside of the world of the game. A little more on what that could be could be awesome. Maybe have the game suddenly end as the process is completed or something and go from there?
